Vereshchagins bought the north-western slope, and the south-eastern one, respectively, went to Khudyakov, who in 1889 founded the Arboretum park. The brothers sold their land, they later divided it into pieces and sold it again. So in Sochi, the upper Bald Mountain began to gradually take on its current form. Park Arboretum

The village received development in the 90s, at first there were several dozen private houses, now it is a full-fledged microdistrict with its own infrastructure and borders. In the city of Sochi, Lysaya Gora is a fairly popular place, but Sobolevka does not enjoy such fame. Silence and calm are the main advantage of this place.
Due to the location on the mountainside, a magnificent panorama opens up from the village on the Black Sea coast. For vacationers, Sobolevka is unpopular, since it is far from the beach, but this place is ideal for permanent residence.
