Nobody has managed to stop the moment yet, but you can try to catch the mood and detain him in your house! And butterflies will help us with this. With your own hands, you can plant any number of these wonderful creatures on the wall. But first they need to be made!
DIY paper butterflies. On the wall or ceiling
So, we need to make as many different copies as possible so that there is plenty to choose from, and the composition looks as lively as possible! For this we need: colored paper, glue, pins, scissors and a simple pencil. If you have no problems with the image of objects, then you can safely draw a wide variety of butterflies of all sizes and shapes. It is desirable that they be approximately similar to real creatures. If the drawing becomes an obstacle to the implementation of what was planned, then it is worth cutting out the silhouette of the insect from the magazine, transferring it to cardboard, making a stencil and thus getting blanks. Then we cut out
butterflies from paper, give them a natural shape, that is, bend their wings and make a slightly convex abdomen. We bend the pin at a right angle and stick a butterfly on it. And then begins the flight of fantasy and wall decor with butterflies. You can arrange them in the form of a soaring flock, or you can simply decorate the wall without any order.
Butterflies in the form of a stencil
Do-it-yourself butterflies on the wall can be planted with ordinary paint. For
of this you need a smooth plastered and painted wall. Depending on the interior, it is possible to make the background dark, and butterflies to perform
luminous phosphor paint. The effect will be just amazing. You can strengthen it by placing insects near the light source. Or maybe it’s worth going the more traditional way and performing dark or colored butterflies on a
light background ? It all depends on the mood, furnishings and interior style. Having made a stencil from thick cardboard or a plastic folder, in accordance with the chosen concept for placing insects, we begin to apply paint to the stencil. To do this, use a sponge, squeezing it well so as not to cause smudges on the wall.
Plastic butterflies
Another new trend in the manufacture of crafts is the use of plastic bottles. They make wonderful small butterflies, which, painted with acrylic
paints, gold and silver contours, make magnificent specimens for decoration. Such butterflies with their own hands on the wall will become a real decoration of the house. We cut the plastic bottle in half, using a stencil or cut a small butterfly on our own. Then degrease the surface and draw a thin outline of all the veins of the wing pattern. After the contour has dried, you can begin to paint our layout. The more carefully you do this, the more realistic the result! And now you can fix our masterpiece “butterflies on the wall” with your own hands made and painted! That's it. Great and very light wall decor ready.
