General information

History of occurrence

Reallocation of parts
On February 6, 1948, the 73rd Rifle Battalion was named military unit No. 01904, and the 465th Separate Rifle Company turned into a battalion reorganized in the spring of that year. The subsequent change of name occurred on November 3. Then she was renamed the Separate Commandant Company. The creation of the 99th commandant battalion was timed to April 10, 1979. It was formed in accordance with the instructions of the General Staff. The orchestra and the Guard of Honor were formed in 1956 on November twenty-ninth. Activities and Achievements
In the garrison, due to the increased volume of tasks for guarding and garrison service, the instructions of the General Staff on the creation of the 154th Separate Commandant Regiment were approved. The 99th battalion and the guard company became the main units in it. According to the staff list , the composition of the formation was determined. It included a guard company, two commandant battalions, a support unit and an automobile unit. The formation served more than 800 personnel. Composition

Activities and achievements of the orchestra
Already in the first years of work, he was involved in important government events. The orchestra participated in absolutely all the parades that took place on Red Square. The historical procession of 1941 (November 7) and June 24, 1945 is a reasonable pride of the orchestra. The musicians performed at the International Festival of Students and Youth, celebrating the anniversary - the 850th anniversary of the capital and at many other significant events. In 1995, by government order, the orchestra recorded the anthem of the Russian capital. Since the team has a wide range of performance, it is able to provide solemn accompaniment of official ceremonies at the highest level. The composition took part in competitions with the participation of brass bands at international festivals in Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France and the UAE. Today, these musicians are the central military musical group of the capital.
The duties of the orchestra include escorting parades of troops on Red Square, military rituals throughout the territory of Moscow fortification and ceremonies in which the Government of the capital and representatives of various public organizations are directly involved.
Band Leader
Since 2013, the military conductor of the orchestra is Marat Rafikovich Gayanov. In 2000, he became a student at military unit 6520. A year later, he managed to enter the military music school in Moscow. During training he took a very active part in festivals and competitions. After graduating from college, the future conductor entered the Military Institute. In 2010, he graduated with honors. In the period from 2010 to 2013, Marat Rafikovich held the post of military conductor of the orchestra at the Interspecific District Training Center.
