There is another option - to connect several identical elements, and then the application will become a rectangular napkin. Those who have sufficient experience will be able to connect them so that they make a circle.
"Machine"
It consists of four parts: housing, two wheels and headlights. Knitting of the applique (crochet) begins with the largest part - the body. The size of the finished machine will depend on the initial chain. Let there be 27 air loops in it.
First row: two lifting loops, one double crochet in each loop of the set chain.
In the second lifting loop there will be three and double crochet in all the peaks except the second.
Third row: three loops, two double crochets from the second and fourth vertices. At the end of the row, do not knit a column from the penultimate loop, and make the last two with one vertex.
Fourth row: three loops, double crochet in all the vertices of the previous one.
Fifth: air loop, 4 single crochet, 15 air loops, connecting to the last loop of the row.
The last row of the hull (in the direction is a continuation of the previous one): an air loop, connecting posts on the trunk, bottom and hood of the future machine; at the beginning of a long chain of loops, perform a single crochet, on the arch - 12 single crochet, then another single crochet.
The second part of the applique (crochet) is the wheel. That is, there should be two of them. On a ring of three loops, connect 6 connecting posts. "Girl"

They can be made in different sizes and colors, and you get a real cat family. Such knitted appliqués (crochet) will come in handy for decorating girls' clothes.
It is supposed to start with 26 loops - this will be the basis for the cat's legs and tummy. The first 9 loops are the back foot: connecting column to the second loop from the hook, single crochet, connecting 6 without crochet.
On the next loop, a half crochet, then a double crochet. On its top, dial a chain of 14 loops. Tie them with connecting posts, there should be 12, and the last one must be connected in the first loop of the chain. This is the tail that will need to be sewn, curving with a question mark.
Then the back of the cat will be knitted. The double crochet is on the same base as the one that became the basis for the tail. In the next loop, two columns with two double crochets, then in one - two columns with three double crochets. In the next two: one with two crochets, the second with one. Continue with double crochet and connecting in one loop.

All circles are knitted according to one principle: on a ring of 4 loops, perform 10 connecting posts. In the second round, add 4 loops evenly. At this point, you should stop when knitting circles for the tail and neck.
To make the torso, continue knitting. In the third circle, evenly increase the number of columns by 6. The fourth circle is supposed to be further expanded by 6-8 loops. The tip of the ponytail knits in the same way as these circles, only you need to dial 3 loops, the columns should be 7, and in the second row add 5 loops.
When knitting the head, you need to make small changes in the second row. In places where the cheeks will be located, it is necessary to make columns without a crochet.
Sew all the details together. Then tie the antennae. They are the same circles as the tip of the tail, and are attached to the head with air chains of 5-6 loops.
