Origami boat: an easy way

Origami - Japanese art of folding various objects from paper. The origami boat model will be described below.

Origami art

As a rule, a square sheet of paper is used, and color is also possible. In traditional origami, glue and scissors are not used.

There are many different techniques that allow you to stack both simple figures and complex volumetric objects.

How to make a punt boat out of paper

Using this technique, you can do anything you want. Below we consider how a boat can be made out of a regular sheet of paper. Origami will help us with this:

  1. Prepare a square sheet of paper.
  2. Fold it in half by folding the bottom up.
  3. Lay it out. Now bend the edges to the center line, i.e. fold each side in half again.
  4. Turn the craft over to the other side and fold the workpiece again in half.
  5. It turns out that the sheet is folded accordion. Bend one side.
  6. Wrap the top edges towards the middle to form a triangle.
  7. Turn the same on the other side (bottom).
  8. Fold the shape in half so that the triangles are inside.
  9. Open the boat, bend the sides of the triangular shape inward to make a triangle.
  10. Bend the middle corners on yourself.
  11. Expand the whole structure. Flush the bottom and mark the sides of the boat.

Here's a punt boat. Origami is very simple and understandable to make such a craft.

Making a boat together

For the next boat you will need a standard sheet of A4 paper.

  1. Fold the sheet in half (across).
  2. Fold the sheet in half again.
  3. Expand. You got a sheet folded once in half, with a marked fold line in the middle.
  4. Bend the top corners to the middle to make a triangle.
  5. Bend the front lower part to get a fold line under the base of the triangle.
  6. On the sides there were two small triangles that need to be bent to the back of the main triangle.
  7. Turn the product over and do the same as the first side.
  8. Open the product to form a rhombus. Smooth all edges.
  9. Fold the bottom of the rhombus up to about a centimeter to the top.
  10. Do the same on the other side. The origami boat is almost ready. There are a couple of points left.
  11. Turn the workpiece toward you and pull the sides to open the boat.
  12. Give it a clearer shape.

This is a standard model. Such an origami boat has been known to everyone since childhood, when in spring whole squadrons of paper boats were launched along streams .
