Since 2009, the recreation center "Solar on the Oka" began its work here - this is its official name. She immediately won the popularity of tourists with her wonderful design, professional service, comfortable living conditions and a variety of leisure options. Location
The recreation center "Solar on the Oka" is located near the village of Volkovskoye, Kaluga region, Tarusa district. From Moscow it is only 127 km or 2 hours by car. From Serpukhov to the camp site - just over 20 km, and from the city of Tarusa - only 14 km or 20 minutes. You can get to the base by public transport.
There are two ways:
1. By train from the Kursk station to Serpukhov. There, take the bus going to Tarusa and get off in the village of Volkovskoye, and then on foot. Buses and minibuses in this direction go every 10-15 minutes. Travel time is about an hour.
2. By bus from Moscow direct flight to Tarusa. Get off at Volkovsky. The road takes a little less than 2 hours. Buses depart from the metro stations Teply Stan and Yugo-Zapadnaya.
The recreation center on the Oka "Solar" is so located that it is very convenient to travel there by car. The route from Moscow can be as follows: from the Moscow Ring Road, take exit 32 to the M2 highway (Tula direction). After about 70 km, take the ramp onto Serpukhov, enter the city, follow the third traffic light, turn right. Follow this road to the “Tank” monument. It is located at the crossroads of Serpukhov. Here you need to turn left, towards Tarusa. Then cross the bridge over Protva, the village of Guryevo and drive into the village of Volkovskoye. Get to its center. At the intersection, where there is a grocery store and a bus stop, turn towards the fields. Drive along this road to the fork and turn onto the dirt road. It leads directly to the gates of the recreation center.
Territory
The recreation center on the Oka Solnechnaya occupies the territory of a mixed forest of about 6 hectares. In the shade of birches and pines, nice buildings, sports grounds, a cafe, a SPA-salon, a children's playground, cozy gazebos, a shooting gallery, a sauna, barbecue areas, a tennis court, a secured parking lot, points where sports equipment is rented and other outbuildings are harmoniously located. The entire territory of the base is very clean and well maintained, paths are laid between buildings and infrastructure objects, a staircase is equipped to the river and beach. Along the coast there is also a gazebo where you can sit and enjoy the beauty of the scenery. It is important to know that there is a source of live healing water on the territory, which you can drink in any quantities, as well as take with you when you return to the city.
Infrastructure
The recreation center on the Oka “Solnechnaya” can offer both active and relaxing holidays. For sports lovers there is a tennis court, football and volleyball courts, a place for playing badminton, tennis and billiard tables. At the rental point, you can take any necessary sports equipment, bicycles, chess, backgammon. The fishermen are just a paradise. On the Oka, you can fish in winter and summer, and the base workers are ready to provide fishing equipment.

Hotel
Two options for accommodation in a hotel and in a separate cottage are offered by the recreation center on the Oka Solnechnaya.
The hotel has rooms of the following categories:
- Standard (16 units). Double, spacious, comfortable, with a balcony. Equipment - a double bed or two single beds, wardrobe, bedside tables, chest of drawers, clothes rack, shoe shelves, coffee table, TV, telephone. The hygiene room has a toilet, washbasin and shower. Refrigerators are not provided in this room type. They can be borrowed at an additional cost.
- Junior Suite (4 units). Double one-room cozy room, quite spacious. The equipment here is the same as in the standards, only double beds are installed.
- Suite (4 units). Very spacious double two-room suite with two balconies. Layout - a salon where upholstered furniture is installed, and a bedroom with a double bed. The room has a refrigerator, TV, telephone, hygiene room. In rooms of this category there is the possibility of accommodation for a third person.
Cottages
The Solnechnaya na Oka recreation center can offer accommodation in cottages for 4, 6, 8 people. The photo below shows the location and design of one of them.
Four-seater and six-seater two-story cottages are built of environmentally friendly wood according to the design of foreign experts.
Quadruple cottages (3 units) are equipped with a balcony, a veranda, a double bed (in the attic), an angular soft sofa in the living room (folding), a necessary set of furniture, a TV, a telephone, a kitchen area with dishes, a microwave, an electric kettle, a refrigerator, and a hygiene room.
Six-seater cottages (2 units) have two balconies and a veranda. There are two double beds (in the attic and on the ground floor). The living room has a large folding sofa, TV and telephone. On the ground floor there is also a kitchen area with dishes, a fridge, a microwave, an electric kettle and a hygiene room.
Eight-bed cottages (2 units) are also two-story, but brick buildings, equipped with a balcony and a veranda. Sleeping places here are provided in such options: either 6 single beds and one double, or three double and two single beds. There is also a pull-out sofa in the living room. The cottage has a set of furniture, a TV, a telephone, two hygiene rooms and a kitchen area, equipped with an electric stove, an electric kettle and a refrigerator.
All vacationers at the base are provided with bedding sets and towels.
Nutrition
Absolutely free food system has a recreation center "Solar on the Oka" (Kaluga region). All tourists can have breakfast, lunch and dinner in a cafe in the base. The dishes here are excellent. The menu includes soups, hodgepodge, dumplings, dumplings, meat, chicken, various salads and side dishes, buns and other pastries. You can also arrange a comprehensive meal.
