They created large textile factories that produced exquisite silk ribbons and braid. Therefore, it is safe to say that embroidery with ribbons originated in France.

So, consider the main stitches used in embroidery ribbons:
1. The first main seam is called "forward with a needle." It is the most commonly used. It is done very simply. It is necessary to introduce a needle with a tape threaded into it from the wrong side to the front part. Next, measure the stitch and re-enter it, now from the front to the wrong side. Again, make a stitch and again bring the needle to the front side. For women familiar with sewing, this seam is better known as a seam.
2. For embroidery of flowers and petals, a seam “forward with a volume needle” is used. The technique of its implementation is similar to the previous one with one difference, which consists in the fact that under the stitches, to give them splendor, a needle or a thick needle is placed. On the wrong side, the stitches do not tighten.
3. Embroidery with ribbons primarily means beautiful three-dimensional figures. They are made with a very original spider web stitch. To create it, simple threads are used in tone to the main tape. First, five or seven stitches are sewn so that they come out of one center. It looks like a sun or snowflakes. Then, from the wrong side in the center, a needle with a threaded tape is removed and they begin to alternately pull it through the "rays" in a spiral. The tape is stretched in turn, then above the stitch, then below it. So that the element turns out to be voluminous, the ribbon is twisted.
