But the screen for the room can be made independently, from improvised materials. It can protect part of the space for a bedroom or living room, hide untidy areas, for example, batteries or an unpleasant corner with a workshop. And you can put a screen in the bathroom instead of a curtain, because it will look much more stylish, and also perform the function of protecting the room from moisture from the shower. For its manufacture, we need very little: a wooden beam with a section of 4 * 4 cm, 3 meters of linen (you can use another fabric of your choice), black acrylic paint, putty for wood, 4 hinges for doors. And from the tools - paint brushes, a grinder or sandpaper, a hammer and a screwdriver, a saw, screws and decorative nails, a measuring tape, as well as a ruler, pencil, sewing machine and scissors, that's all. Now we pass to the main stage: we make the screen itself for the room, or rather its frame. To do this, we need to saw off 6 pieces of timber 180 cm long, as well as 12 pieces of 50 cm each. We take measurements using a tape measure, marking with a pencil on the edge of the ruler. Now we process all the surfaces of the bars with a grinder to absolute smoothness. For fidelity, you can go with sandpaper "null".
Frame
Now we collect our screen for the room. It will be 3 separate sections with short jumpers 2 in the bottom and top, and they will be fastened together by door hinges. Therefore, we make each section in turn: we place two beams strictly opposite each other at a distance of 50 cm. Then, departing from the upper edge of 2 cm, we fasten a short length to both bars on long self-tapping screws. The next jumper is 20 cm lower. Now we also act with the reverse side (bottom) and with the remaining two sections. To achieve the absolute smoothness of the surface of the tree to prevent injury to you or children, you need to putty it, and then sanded with fine sandpaper. Now we paint its entire surface with black paint (you can change the scale of your interior) and proceed to the final stage.

The made-up screen for a room with your own hands looks much more advantageous and original than the purchased one, and therefore you need to do it carefully. After we finished the frame, it remains only to cut the fabric and attach it to the wooden base. Here you need to be guided by the rule: measure 7 times, cut once. Therefore, we cut out 3 rectangles with dimensions of 172 * 58 cm. We bend all their edges three times each 1 cm and lay seams on the machine so that the fabric does not crumble. Now we just have to attach the panels to the frame, for this we use decorative nails, and collect all the sections in one design. To do this, we fasten the door hinges on the screws at the level of the second short sections of the beam above and below. So, our decorative screen is ready!
