Yekaterinburg (formerly Sverdlovsk) is the administrative center of the Urals District. This is the fourth largest city in Russia and one of the centers of industry, culture, connects the European and Asian parts of the country. The city has 7 districts. In one of them (Verkh-Isetsky) there is a unique place - the village of Chusovskoye Lake.
Village
The village is part of the city and is located in a forested area. There is a lake Chusovskoye in the village . Yekaterinburg (central part) is only 20 km from the village.
The village is built up mainly by private houses. Today, a cottage village of the same name is populated here. On the territory there are sanatoriums, shops, a children's institution and a feldsher-midwife station.

Historical reference

Lake

The reservoir belongs to the Kama basin. An unnamed stream flows from the lake (in the south-west). From the north flows the Patrushikha River, which is assigned to the Irtysh basin. In fact, the lake is located on the watershed of two catchment areas.

It is believed that the age of the lake is about 320 million years. On the banks of the reservoir found parking primitive people. Russian came here only in the XVII-XVIII centuries. Bashkirs called Lake Boltou.
The width of the reservoir is about 1 km, in length - 2 km. The bottom here is mostly muddy, in some places rocky. The maximum depth is 4 meters.
Fishing
Fish is found on Lake Chusovsky in Yekaterinburg - these are pike, tench, perch, minnow, chebak and crucian carp. But the largest percentage falls on perch and roach, this fish can be caught here all year round. Net fishing is prohibited, only with fishing rods and spinning.
Here you can settle on the lake in a tent. It is believed that water can be drunk from here, it has a low degree of mineralization, fresh and artesian. However, previously it is still recommended to boil it.
