A paper spinner is fun for children, designed to play with the wind. The wings of the craft begin to spin after a breath of air. To bring the turntable into action, you need to run forward, holding the toy on your outstretched arm, or blow on the blades, or attach it to the bike, directing the craft under a stream of wind. Children of absolutely different ages love to play with her.
In this article, we consider two interesting ways of making a paper turntable with your own hands. Step-by-step schemes can easily make a trinket for games with the wind.
Origami pinwheel
To make this simple toy, use the folding method to prepare a square sheet of origami paper. First, practice on the newspaper page, and only then try to experiment with double-sided dense colored paper. You can use glossy, then the toy will glisten spectacularly in the sun.
Each bend should be done clearly and evenly by fingers. After you have assembled the turntable, the central point at which all the folds meet is sealed with a small circle of cardboard. It is best to use PVA glue. Then you need to fix the craft. To attach, use the wire: gently pierce the crafts in the center, pass through the hole and bend the loop.
The second version of the turntable made of paper
Together with the child, you can make a lighter spinner. The following materials will be required:
- a square sheet of durable double-sided color paper or bright print paper;
- wooden stick - you can use a wooden skewer or ordinary thick wire;
- a button or screw for attaching a paper spinner to a stick;
- an awl to make a hole through all the edges of the craft;
- a simple pencil and a ruler to complete the drawing;
- scissors.
How to make a turntable?
On a square of paper you need to draw diagonal lines with a simple pencil. Then, along the lines with scissors, make incisions, not reaching the center point of 1.5 cm, with an awl, make holes in the center and on each segment in the corners, as in the photo below.
Further, the corners are bent and connected in the center on the rod. Bending lines do not need to be pressed, as air should enter the voluminous blades. It remains only to attach the finished turntable to a stick or wire.
You can assemble a craft from triangles of different colors according to a similar pattern. The number of sectors of the turntable can be different, it all depends on the size of the craft.
