Some girls are happy to wear it just at home. How to make it from felt? Let's look at the manufacturing options and patterns, according to which you can draw the contours of the future subject.
The simplest crown
In order to create such an ornament, you will need to buy a sheet of orange felt, half a meter of elastic, a thread with a needle, scissors and a template. To know the diameter of such a felt crown, you need to calculate it approximately with a flexible meter. For example, let's take a diameter of 21 cm. Then, following the pattern, it will be necessary to mark the corners for the crown equal to 3 cm. We will get 7 sharp protrusions of a triangular shape. The depth of cuts can be selected by eye.
Approximately 3 cm is left from the corners to the base so that the crown of felt holds firmly. If you simply sew the edges of the crown together, it will turn out soft and will not keep its shape. To prevent this from happening, you need to strengthen the base with another layer of felt.
To do this, a strip is cut out, equal in size to the part that is without triangular corners, and from the inside you can sew the second layer, it will perfectly hold the glued rim on felt.

To the corners of the crown looked to the side, you need to give the pattern a trapezoid shape, sewing the edges not in a straight line, but at an angle. First you need to draw a template, according to which the pattern will be performed. To do this, measure the circumference of the child’s head and divide its value in half. For example, if it is 50 cm, then draw a rectangle with one side equal to 25 cm. We take the height of the crown by eye, if desired. Next, you need to find the middle and put a point on opposite sides. It will be equal to 25: 2 = 12.5 cm. Connect these points and continue the line up 3 cm. We put there a point that will be the top of the crown. It remains to connect it with smooth lines with the long side of the rectangle.
Next is the pattern of the crown of felt. To do this, fold in half a sheet of beige felt sheet and, having outlined a template, cut along the contours.
