Each place on the map of our vast and blessed country of Russia has its own unique history. And some cities and towns are named after great people. Biography of the district center
The history of the city began in the 18th century, on the day of the foundation of the small farm Sulin. What remains of the former settlement? But the First World War brought with it tremendous upheaval and destruction.

After the region was granted official status in 1926, its revival began after chaos. Initially, a metallurgical plant was reconstructed, squares were gradually built, parks and recreation areas were built. But happiness did not last long - the Great Patriotic War came.
And again, the city of Red Sulin has been devastated. Local residents stood up to defend their homeland, having taken military weapons and desperately fighting for the honor of the region. The plant worked in heavy duty, it produced anti-tank hedgehogs. A little less than a year the administrative center was in German occupation. In February 1943 the city was liberated by the army under the command of Vatutin N.F.
Achievements and attractions
Neither war nor revolution could break the Russian spirit. Even after significant losses, Red Sulin "rose" from the ashes, spread its "wings" and grew even more. Adversity and destruction made him more beautiful, stronger and more civilized. Today it is a developed industrial center with 14 metallurgical, processing, coal and energy enterprises on its vast land. The region boasts the largest enterprise for the production of energy-efficient and float glass. About 900 tons of this product are produced here daily. Pokrovsky Temple

This is not an easy natural treasure of the Krasnosulinsky district, but also a favorite vacation spot of the local population. In summer, people gather near the canyon to swim, sunbathe and dive.
