Peschanoe is a small resort village in the Crimea, where there are many boarding houses and tourist centers. People of different ages and families with children come here to rest, because the prices here are much lower than in other places of the peninsula (for example, South Coast). The most popular among tourists are recreation centers in Peschanoy. Their choice must be approached responsibly, because poor service and unfriendly staff can spoil not only relaxation, but also the overall impression of the place.
Where is?
Peschanoe is located in the northwestern part of the peninsula, right on its very edge. It is part of the Bakhchisarai district. As for the distance to Bakhchisarai itself, it is 33 km. Approximately the same path has to be done if there is a desire to visit the hero city of Sevastopol.
How to get there
There are only two ways to get to the village of Peschanoe:
- by personal transport;
- by bus.
It is worth considering each of the options in more detail.
Bus
The easiest and fastest way to get to the village-resort Peschanoe is to catch a bus. About 20 flights depart from the capital of Crimea (Simferopol) daily to the village, some of which go directly from the airport. This is very convenient, since it will be much easier for a person who first arrived in the Crimea to get to the bus station, buy a ticket and hit the road.
Otherwise, you will have to take a trolleybus or minibus to the train station, where the Kurortnaya bus station is located. If we talk about the time of the trip, it is about 1 hour 20 minutes, but if you go from the bus station, which is located at the airport, then the travel time will be about 1 hour.
Car
As for traveling by car, here, too, everything is basically simple. The main flow of tourists goes from the side of Kerch, because there is a ferry crossing. From there there are 3 roads through which you can get to the village of Peschanoe, Bakhchisarai district.
The first option, it is also considered the fastest, starts from the E97 / M17 highway, and then goes onto the P23 road, which will lead to Simferopol. From the capital to Peschanoye there is only one route - H06. The total travel time will be approximately 3 hours 50 minutes, excluding traffic jams.
The remaining 2 options offer a longer way, to bypass Simferopol, along the M17 / M18 and P25 highways. Travel time using these routes increases by approximately 40-50 minutes.
Description
Before proceeding to the description of recreation centers in Peschanoy, it would be nice to talk about the place itself and its attractions.
Not so long ago, the village could hardly be called a resort, because no one wanted to equip anything. It seemed as if time in these places had stopped. But after 2014, when the tourist flow increased sharply, everything began to gradually improve. For vacationers, new recreation centers, hotels, motels and pensions are being created.
There are not too many attractions in Peschanoye, one can say that they are practically absent here, but it is definitely worth a visit to the Ust-Alminskoe settlement, which in 1969 was awarded the status of a monument of national importance. It was built by the Scythians at the end of the II century BC. e.
This city was considered the second largest after Naples Scythian. After some time, cooperation was established with Chersonesos, whose inhabitants bought a lot of bread. The history of this place, of course, is very rich, and it is better for everyone to get acquainted with it.
There is also the Alminsky memorial complex dedicated to the Alminsky battles of 1854 between the British, French and Turks on the one hand and Russians on the other. The first monument was erected here by the British at the site of the mass grave in 1877.
In general, there’s nothing more to watch in Peschanoy, but it’s good that the distance to Sevastopol and Bakhchisaray is small. There is also something to see, for example, the Khan's Palace, Chufut-Kale, a cave monastery, the 35th battery, Sapun-mountain, etc.
As for the rest in Peschanoy (Crimea), then everything is extremely simple. Swimming in the sea, sunbathing on the beach, walking around the area, horseback riding, water sports, diving, etc. For vacationers with children, children's towns are equipped here, pony rides and typewriter trips are organized, as well as a park entertainment. In addition, in the summer a circus often arrives in the village, where quite interesting performances take place.
Recreation facilities and pensions
As already mentioned, the most popular holidaymakers are recreation centers in Peschaniy and boarding houses. It’s about them that we’ll talk, but in fairness it should be noted that living in the private sector will cost a little cheaper, but oh well.
Holiday Village "Rendezvous"
It would be more correct to say not a recreation center, but a boarding house. At least that's what it says on the official website. The choice of rooms here is not too extensive, only three types:
- double junior suite;
- double suite;
- triple suite.
It is worth noting one interesting feature: the junior suites do not have a balcony.
Now for the prices. They are divided into 3 periods, but in general, we can say that by 2. So, living from June to the end of August will cost 1200-1600 rubles. per night for a double junior suite. The first price is 1200 rubles. - means accommodation without meals, and 1600 rubles., on the contrary, with meals.
As for the remaining months, for them the prices are slightly lower - 800 and 1400 rubles. respectively. As a result, rest for 10 days at a minimum price will cost 8,000 rubles (excluding food costs).
As for the luxury rooms, their prices are only 200 rubles higher than the previous ones.
Well, and finally, a list of what the boarding house provides its guests:
- free wifi

- car parking.
In addition, each room has a refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, a private bathroom with a toilet, shower and sink. The differences between "luxury" and "junior suite" are only in the provision of a large closet and loggia with furniture.
"Victoria"
The minimum price for accommodation in this place is 9000 rubles. for a 10-day stay in a double room. For this money, a person receives cable TV, free internet, air conditioning, a fan, a wardrobe, a washing machine, an iron, a balcony with a view of the garden, a private bathroom, etc. The only thing missing is a separate small kitchenette.
In addition, Victoria Guest House provides rental bicycles and diving equipment. The beach is almost nearby, just a 10-minute walk. The disadvantage of this place is the lack of three meals a day, but on the other hand, this service is rarely provided in which guest house.
Sandy Summer
Quite an interesting and attractive name for the last recreation center in Peschanoy today. By the way, not only the name attracts here, but also the price - it is very low, only 5400 rubles. in 10 days. Moreover, for this money both a family room and a double with two separate beds are offered.
Since these are budget rooms, the bathroom will be shared, as well as the toilet, but each will have a small kitchenette. Also for everyone there is free internet, TV, wardrobe, air conditioning, barbecue and free parking.
For those who need a private bathroom, superior rooms are great. They cost, of course, more expensive, almost 12 thousand rubles, but they are equipped with everything necessary.
In principle, the Sandy Summer service ends there. There is no bike rental, diving equipment or anything like that, but the beach is nearby, only 10 minutes walk.
Reviews
According to reviews of tourists about holidays in Crimea, Peschanoye is pretty good. There are not very many people even in the midst of the season, prices for accommodation and food are quite reasonable. Like vacationers and beaches. By the way, they are different here: there are both completely sandy and pebble ones.
The only and perhaps the most important drawback is the lack of infrastructure in the village, but everything is still ahead and, possibly, this problem will soon be eliminated. Have a good rest!
