The village of Cold River is located in a picturesque corner of Abkhazia, on the Black Sea. The resort is famous for its stunning nature and pristine beaches. The boarding house was built back in 1938. The last reconstruction was carried out in 2008. Then the buildings were repaired, furniture was replaced, air conditioners were installed everywhere.
Now "Cold River" is a modern resort where you can relax inexpensively and budget. The territory of the boarding house is not very large (less than 2 hectares), but is landscaped with beautiful southern plants. The resort is popular among tourists who come to Abkhazia on their own, in company or with families with children (from any age). A recreation center is open from May 1 to October 31.
Guesthouse
Vacationers are offered cozy and comfortable rooms in the buildings. The total number of rooms is 150 seats. The boarding house has a four-story, two-story and one-story residential building. The following room categories are available:

- triple standard (total area - 18-20 sq. m);
- triple two-room superior (area - 36 sq. m).
All apartments have the necessary furniture (single or double beds with orthopedic mattresses, bedside tables, wardrobes, tables and chairs, one extra bed in the form of a folding bed), as well as a TV and a refrigerator. In the superior room there is also a folding sofa. Almost everywhere air conditioners are installed. Where there are none, fans are provided. Each room has a balcony. The bathroom is equipped with a shower. Cold and hot water is supplied uninterrupted.
In total, the housing stock of the recreation center has fifty rooms, thirty of which are with sea views. Prices for accommodation in the boarding house "Cold River" (Abkhazia) start at 2880 rubles for knocking.

Most of the places for cultural and recreational activities are located in the center of Gagra. There are concentrated various shops, the city market, water park, bars, cafes, restaurants, discos, as well as the promenade. In the pension, vacationers also have something to do. For example, you can play table tennis or go for a swim in the round pool. Also, vacationers can fry their own fish or meat skewers on the grill. All necessary equipment and utensils are available.
Preferring open water should go to the local pebble beach. Moreover, it is located just 200 meters from the pension. Vacationers come down to the beach by elevator.
Near the boarding house there is a small cafe serving delicious dishes, among which there is barbecue. Noisy recreation (for example, water parks, discos and animations) is not nearby. The location of the recreation center
Pension Cold River is located 12 km from the city of Adler (Sochi) and 14 from Gagra (Abkhazia). You can get to the town center in just ten minutes by taxi. There is a shuttle bus from the train station or Adler Airport to the Psou checkpoint. There you need to transfer by taxi or bus, next to the village of Cold River.
