With the development of new technologies, more and more improved products of mass consumption appear. However, this applies not only to objects of technology and electronics, the same can be said about more abstract things, for example, about cinema. The acclaimed film "Avatar" caused a huge wave of interest in 3D films. Many directors began to shoot just such pictures. And manufacturers of equipment, according to new trends, have begun to manufacture 3D TVs.
To watch such films you need special glasses. Active 3D glasses can be either purchased at the store or made independently. But first, a little history.
I must say that 3D technology is not a modern invention. The first 3D movie was not Avatar at all. It was the film "The Power of Love", shot in America in 1922. Such films were quite popular at that time. However, their production gradually came to naught. The fact is that shooting such a movie requires quite serious technical equipment. And at the beginning of the last century, this issue, of course, was quite problematic. Another thing is the beginning of our century. With the advent of computer technology, making 3D films has become easier. In addition, now you can get a much better picture.
DIY 3D glasses are easy to make. And although some 3D TVs are equipped with whole sets of such glasses, they can be found on sale even without such a set.
You can, of course, buy such glasses in the store, and this will be the best option, since if you make 3D glasses with your own hands, their quality, of course, will not be as high as in store ones. Perhaps you canβt even watch movies with such home-made glasses.
Do-it-yourself 3D glasses are usually only for viewing 3D photos. The most interesting thing is that you can also take such photos yourself. The history of such a photo began even earlier than the history of 3D films. The first 3D image was not even a photograph, but simply a painted picture. The first photo was taken by Ludwig Moser, who invented a stereoscopic camera in 1944.
So, how can you make 3D glasses with your own hands? The list of tools and materials you need is pretty small. Firstly, you need a transparent, fairly thick and dense film, and preferably plastic, and secondly, old sunglasses or just a frame from any others. In addition, prepare a pencil and two markers - blue and red. Felt pens should be alcohol-based. You will also need ordinary scissors.
Manufacturing technology is as follows. You need to carefully remove the old lenses from the frame of the glasses, and then draw a pencil around the outline on the film. Now cut out two plastic lenses. The next step is to paint these lenses with felt-tip pens. It is important to observe a simple rule: the lens for the left eye should be colored red, for the right it should be blue. Now we also gently insert the finished plastic lenses into the frame. As you can see, making 3D glasses with your own hands is very simple. Enjoy your viewing.
