The nature of the Middle Urals provides us with many opportunities for a good rest. Her tourism potential is not yet fully utilized. The region has a quite moderate climate acceptable to most people and a lot of natural objects worthy of tourist's attention. Some of them have already been mastered and are widely popular. Others, no less significant, remained aloof from public attention.
Let's look away from the main directions
Lake Glukhoy, located near Yekaterinburg, allows you to change the situation and disconnect from the reality of the metropolis. The pond lives up to its name - there is no noise and urban fuss. Coniferous forests and swamps reliably cover it from the motorway passing at a short distance, through which you can quickly reach it. Lake Glukhoye is a piece of wildlife, still in almost pristine cleanliness, as crowds of tourists pass along the highway past it. The relic coniferous forest on its shore has the potential to set up a tent here and spend a week or two in relative peace and quiet, enjoying the Ural nature.
It is only important to leave everything here as it was before you appeared on these shores. The Deaf Lake should remain clean further. Garbage is inappropriate here, it should be taken away with you for subsequent disposal. In fact, this should always be done, going to nature in any place. But in this place everything is explained by the fact that the reservoir is located on the territory of a landscape monument of nature, administratively structured into the Verkh-Isetskiy forestry. The lake is replenished due to the flow of several unobtrusive streams, and the only river follows from it - the Glukhovsky Source. The shores of the lake with dense thickets of vegetation are the nesting site of many species of
waterfowl.
Lake Deaf. Fishing
Amateur fishing in this pond is free of charge, at least until now. The main species of fish that are found here are perch and pike. It is preferable to fish from a boat or other watercraft. Landing in many places is very difficult due to its swampiness. The depth of the reservoir rarely exceeds one and a half meters and only in its deepest part reaches four. Despite the fact that it is impossible to guarantee a rich catch, this is not a reason not to go on vacation to Lake Glukhoye. Hospital. Lake Deaf
The only public facility operating on the territory of the landscape monument of nature is the city hospital No. 22, Lake Deaf. This is a cardiological hospital. His presence here is completely justified. Coniferous relict forest on the shore of a natural reservoir has a beneficial effect on patients with heart disease. And the distance from the capital of the Urals is only 18 kilometers along the Novomoskovsk highway. The nearest settlement to the hospital is the village of Svetlaya Rechka.
