Agree, itβs always nice to receive compliments, no matter what they are. It is especially great if people praise a thing that you have done yourself. Floss bracelets appeared in the days of hippies. Thanks to the "children of flowers" today we know how to weave baubles. Direct weaving or diagonal - anyway. The main thing is with the soul!
What weave baubles from
There are a great many materials. The most popular of them: mouline thread and beads. With the first, as a rule, there are no problems, the main thing is that they are durable and have bright colors. But finding good beads can be very difficult. For direct weaving, you need even beads, well polished, and finding them is quite difficult. Therefore, in this article we will consider how to weave baubles with direct weaving from threads.
It is also worth noting that the bracelets are made of silk ribbons, laces, leather and some other materials. Often, such products look much more interesting than those that were purchased at the store.
How to weave baubles with direct weaving
Looking at the stunning beauty of the bracelets, it seems that it is almost impossible to make them. However, it is not. The only thing required is diligence as well as time. The technique that you will now learn about is available to everyone, because how to weave baubles with direct weaving is easy and simple!
First you need to decide what exactly you want to weave: baubles with drawings or with a name. The first to weave is a little more difficult, especially if more than two colors are involved. In addition, oblique weaving is more suitable for this method . A huge number of schemes will allow you to create many original bracelets.
For baubles with names, a ready-made scheme is not necessary at all - you can draw it yourself. To do this, take the paper in a cage and, having decided for yourself how wide your bracelet will be, start drawing. The optimal height of the letters is 9 thread knots (which means cells in the diagram). Do not forget about the indentation - 2 cells on each side.
Let the background be black and the letters red. Based on this, take 13 red threads (9 + 2 + 2) a meter long and one black thread as long as possible. Optimum - 2.5 meters, however, then you still have to add.
Fold the threads together and, stepping back from the edge of 10 cm, tie them at once into a knot. Tighten it tight. Glue a small ten-centimeter tail with tape to the table.
Take the black thread and make a knot around the red. How?
Step 1. βPut the black thread over the red.
Step 2. Pass the black thread from below into the loop formed.
Step 3. Make a knot by pulling the black thread (it should slide along the red one, as it were).
Done? Now repeat. That is, two black knots on a red thread should turn out. Next, do the same with all the other threads until you finish the row.
After that, start the second row, only now in the opposite direction. The thread that was braided last, now braid first. The penultimate one is the second. Etc.
After 10 rows, start weaving the name. The bottom line is that, looking at the diagram, in the 11th row the first two threads are braided, as they did before. But after that, on the contrary - make two red knots on a black thread. The main thing is to look at the diagram and not mix anything up. Unsuccessful nodules can be dissolved with a pin.
When finished, tie a knot out of all the threads. And then braid both ends of the baubles. Done!
