“Moscow City” is a new business district of the capital. It is known for its skyscrapers, which are wonderful works of modern architecture. Among them, a special place is occupied by the Empire Tower (Moscow-City), the photo of which can only give a distant idea of the full scale of this structure.
Construction history
The construction of the first Moscow City building was started in 1996. It became the “Tower 2000”, which was commissioned in 2001. After it, the new buildings of the Expocenter and the Evolution skyscraper were also built. Finally, in 2006, the foundation was laid for a multifunctional business complex. The new skyscraper was called the tower "Empire" ("Moscow City"). After 5 years, with the participation of officials holding important posts in the capital's city hall, a grand opening ceremony of this building was organized, and in 2013 construction of the second stage of the project also began, completion of which is expected in the near future.
Location
The Empire Tower (Moscow-City) is located in convenient transport access from all areas of Moscow, on Presnenskaya Embankment. There is direct access to it both from the Moskva River and from the pedestrian zone of the MIBC. Due to this circumstance, the Imperia skyscraper has an advantage over other objects in the Moscow-City district. The Empire Tower is a five-minute walk from the Bagration pedestrian bridge and from the Vystavochnaya metro station. In addition, from there you can easily get to the Afimol shopping center and further to other objects of the Moscow-City district without having to go outside, which is important, especially in the cold season.

The Moscow City Empire Tower stands out architecturally from neighboring structures, although its dimensions are not as impressive as, for example, the height of the Mercury City Tower or Eurasia. Empire Tower (Moscow City): how to get
To find this magnificent piece of modern architecture is quite simple. For example, you can take the metro to the Vystavochnaya or Delovoy Tsentr stations on your own.
• In the first case, you need to go to the Bagration bridge, turn right, walk along Presnenskaya embankment for about 300 m to AFIMALL City and then to the stairs of the City of Capitals building. After this, you should climb up and go around this building on the right side, and after 50 m turn right to the Empire Tower.
• After reaching the “Delovoy Tsentr” metro station, you need to follow the sign “Empire”, turn right and cross the atrium of the AFIMALL City building. After leaving the mall, you should go left before entering the northern lobby of the Imperia skyscraper.
From the center of the capital, you can drive to the tower by car as follows: get to Krasnopresnenskaya embankment, then drive through the Bagration bridge, continue along the Evolution IFC and go straight ahead for another 100 m. After that, turn right and get to the gate of the business complex "Empire".
From the region you can get to a skyscraper like this: moving along the inner ring of the TTK, take the Krasnopresnenskaya embankment, then turn right at the first turn and go to Testovskaya street. Further, following the Presnenskaya embankment (turn left), after 500 m, turn left again and drive to the gates of the Empire Tower.
