- No limit on the storage period for accumulated letters.
- An optimized interface for mobile devices that makes it easy to view, select and create new messages.
- The absence of any tariffing (the use of the box is not subject to any payments) - this property applies only to the option of "easy" mail, which has some restrictions.
- The presence of notifications of incoming correspondence with the ability to configure receipt of notification. For example, the period: the subscriber can set the desired time when the MegaFon Mail service alerts will be received (light version).
What is this “light version” and what are its differences from the full one?
Subscribers are provided with two options for using mail from a mobile operator: a full and a light version. The second is characterized by:
- No tariffing (you don’t have to spend money on activating and using the “Easy mail” option, while for the full version 2 rubles of monthly fee are charged daily).
- Small volume for storing correspondence (up to 100 Mb).
- Ability to send an unlimited number of letters to third-party electronic mailboxes through the full version of the MegaFon Mail option. The light version (what it is, we said earlier) provides the ability to send only three messages within one day.
- Notifications of new e-mails are also provided in a limited form both on one and on another type of mail. In the case of the full version, two hundred notifications are allowed per day, while in the easy version - only fifty.
How can MegaFon Mail subscription (light version) be made?
To activate the service, you need to dial the following request on the number * 656 * 2 #. In the response message you will find information about the personal login and password that will be used to enter the mailbox. Follow the instructions from Megafon. Mail (the light version - what it is and how it differs from the main version, we examined earlier) will be activated in a few minutes. You can disable it using the request * 656 * 0 * 2 #.
