The question of whether Mytishchi will remain without a metro is equally worried both for residents of this satellite city of Moscow and those Muscovites who often have to get there with transfers from different areas of the capital. Chelobitevo metro station should be built three kilometers northeast of the MKAD. But at present it exists only on paper. No real construction work is being done either at the station itself or on laying a tunnel stage in its direction. Moreover, the Moscow authorities are thinking about whether or not the Mytishchi metro will do at all. This question is constantly being thrown into the information sphere, and the reaction to it has been closely studied.
