Earphones antinoise - a means of individual protection of the organ of hearing. They are intended for use during work, sleep, rest, listening to music. Their main application is hearing protection at work, accompanied by noise, the level of which is a threat to human health. These devices are used primarily:
- at construction sites;
- in the mining industry;
- in repair shops;
- in the metallurgical industry;
- in mechanical engineering;
- in any production where a person is forced to stay close to objects creating a high noise level for a long time.
There are special types of helmets compatible with anti-noise headphones.
GOST requirements for the design and materials of protective headphones
An obligatory part of the equipment of production workers with an increased level of danger to the human hearing organs is the noiseless headphones. GOST R 12.4.210-99 contains general technical requirements for this device, which must be observed by the system. Requirements for materials and design of hearing protection:
- Headphones should be made of materials that exclude the possibility of allergic or other undesirable reactions, including mechanical damage to human skin.
- Structural details should have a rounded shape, without sharp edges and at the same time should not have external damage.
- Changing shock absorbers or liners should not require special tools.
General requirements GOST
Earphones, anti-noise, first of all, must meet the parameters of a certain size - S, M, L. To monitor compliance with this condition, there are special models of the human head of the appropriate size. With their help, the range of regulation of the cup holders and the distance between the ear cups is checked.
According to GOST:
- the maximum allowable pressure force of the headband is 14 H;
- earphone ear cushions should fit tightly, without gaps, to the test layout;
- the maximum allowable pressure force of shock absorbers - 4500 Pa;
- when falling, the details of the headphones should not fall off or crack;
- if the shock absorbers are filled with liquid, there should be no leakage;
- earphones should not be easily ignited;
- the device should provide a minimum level of noise absorption.
Anti-noise design
Earphones antinoise, as well as usual, consist of a headband and ear pads. Protective equipment for hearing protection may have a headband:
- standard:
- with helmet mount;
- cervical (occipital);
- folding.
The standard headband has the usual arc shape for any headphone and is worn over the head or helmet. The occipital or cervical headband covers the back of the head. The headband with a helmet mount consists of two half-arches and is mounted not on top of the helmet, but on both sides, above the auricles. A foldable headband makes the headphones compact when folded, which is convenient for storage.
The sound-absorbing properties of hearing protection devices are ensured by the properties of the ear pads and the design of the headphones, which creates the most snug fit to the auricles.
Headphones for work in the production of SOMZ
Suksunsky Optical-Mechanical Plant (ROSOMZ) specializes in the production of personal protective equipment for the head, eyes, face, hearing and respiratory organs. His product range includes a whole line of hearing protection devices. One of the examples is the SOMZ 1 anti-noise headphones. They are designed to protect against mid-level noise for all industries, including metallurgy and machine building. High-quality cup material and sound-absorbing liners provide a noise absorption level of 27 dB. This level allows you to effectively suppress the sounds of operating equipment and other noises that are dangerous to human health, but speech and danger signals are not muffled.
All SOMZ anti-noise headphones have a well-thought-out design, an adjustable headband height, which ensures a snug fit to the head. The material from which the shock absorbers are made retains its shape throughout its entire service life. Light weight and comfortable headband contribute to the comfortable wearing of the product throughout the entire shift. In the line of anti-noise headphones SOMZ there are models with a microphone, radio, and a high level of noise absorption (they can cope with noise up to 115 dB).
Personal Protective Equipment for Hearing Organs from 3M
The manufacturing company 3M is engaged in the manufacture of electrical products for a wide variety of human activities. The product range of this company has products for personal hearing protection in the workplace. Among the products in this area are 3M anti-noise headphones. Almost all models of headphones of this brand are presented with several design options for the headband. A wide range of 3M hearing protection modifications allows you to choose the right tool for all working conditions. Including many models of 3M headphones, there are options for use in places where, in addition to noise absorption, increased visibility is required (airports, road construction, etc.).
SACLA EARLINE - hearing protection
SACLA is a well-known French manufacturer of personal protective equipment, producing under the EARLINE brand various types of products for the head, face and hearing organs. These include the MAX 400 anti-noise headphones. Among them are compact models with a folding headband and modifications compatible with the face shield holder and helmet. The noise absorption level allows the use of headphones of this brand in production with a low noise level. As a material for the headband, ABS plastic is used , ear pads are made of foamed polyurethane (rubber and rubber substitute).
On sleep protection
Anti-noise headphones for sleeping are a good alternative where ear plugs are usually used. You donβt always want to just disconnect from the environment. Many people like to listen to calm music or recording sounds of nature before going to bed. In this case, special soft headphones designed for sleeping, or slip-ons, will do. They provide a high level of sound insulation, like ear plugs, but at the same time they do not fit into the ears, but fit snugly against them. Anti-noise headphones for sleeping are flat and made of elastic materials, and therefore do not interfere with a comfortable rest. Most often, they resemble an ordinary headband in shape. Familiar ear pads for such devices are hidden in a βcoverβ of fabric. Anti-noise headphones for sleeping can be wired and wireless. The latter work with Bluetooth devices.
