Museum-diorama in Motovilikha
This is one of the small remote departments of the Perm Museum of Local Lore. It contains exhibits that are associated with the armed uprising in Motovilikha at the beginning of the 20th century. In the 30s of the last century, a military shell and the ashes of Stepan Afanasevich Zvonarev were laid in the museum building. This is a great participant in the hostilities in Motovilikha during the revolution. One of the most important attractions of the museum is a skillful canvas more than 20 meters wide. Performed by famous folk artists.
Near the base of the memorial building there are 16 graves of Russian soldiers who died during the October Revolution.
In front of the museum in 1920 a monument was opened to the fighters of the revolution. For Perm, the image on the memorial plays a crucial historical role, since until the early 1990s it was used in the design of the coat of arms of the Perm Region. In October 1963, the Eternal Flame was lit on Mount HSE, near the museum building. It is dedicated to the fallen soldiers who defended the city during the years of the revolution.
Every year, various exhibitions are held within the walls of the building dedicated to the history and culture of not only the city, but also the whole country.
Museum building
Built by an outstanding Perm architect - K.E. Kunoff. The doors of the museum opened to visitors on the birthday of V.I. Lenin. A few years later, the right to reconstruct the historical building belonged to V. A. Kondaurov.
Museum-diorama in Perm performs a special historically significant role, being a representative of Russian architecture of the socialist era. Outside, the building resembles an irregular quadrangle, sharply slanted on one side. Built of majestic red stone, it rarely goes unnoticed by visitors to Perm. How to get there
From the Perm city station, the diorama museum can be reached by public transport:

Cost of visiting
The building receives tourists daily from 10 to 18 hours. The cost of tickets varies from 30 rubles (for students and senior citizens) to 60 (for all adults).
Ticket price may vary. In the second half of 2014, the museum housed an exhibition of rare Soviet cars, respectively, the ticket price increased.
In April 2015, the museum hosted a wonderful historical exhibition entitled "The trains went to the front." It demonstrated the daily life of residents of the Perm region during the Second World War. Also, a special role was given to the excellent depiction of staged paintings of military operations in which personal belongings of Perm residents were used.
Some materials were transferred to the factories of the city. At the opening of the exhibition was attended by all the important people of the city: the head of Perm, the head of Motovilikhinsky settlement. Despite the remoteness of the city from the borders of Russia, he also participated in the course of the war and suffered greatly. More than a thousand sons and fathers went to the front; many military factories and military units were built on the territory of the city.
The railway was fully used by the military, trains were transported daily through the railway station with soldiers, cargo and prisoners of war. Experienced guides and historians allowed to plunge at that time, recreating moments of the past. The starting point for a museum tour is an impromptu train station.
