In the Penza region comfortably located recreation center "White Mountain" (Kamenka) on a clean pond surrounded by fabulous Russian landscapes. Previously, the camp site was a vacation spot of local importance, but in recent years there have been many visitors from Moscow and even Murmansk among vacationers. Of course, there are no big mountains. It offers mainly beach and outdoor activities, focused on families with children.

"Here is the Russian spirit, here it smells of Rus!" - the classic would say again if he found himself after a city of the 21st century, filled with concrete and metal, in this beautiful place with wooden houses, neat green spaces, bathhouses, a pond and a ship-styled cafe made of wood. The name of the base was given by the name of the lake "White Mountain", near which it is located.
The recreation center "White Mountain" in Kamenka (pictured below), or rather in the village. Zalesnoye, Kamensky district, works 12 months a year.
Over the past few years, this place has become popular for corporate events, anniversaries, weddings. The administration of the base happily helps in organizing any festive events. For example, in the summertime, very beautiful wedding ceremonies are held on the shore with a snow-white altar, carved benches for guests to the left and right of the aisle, rose petals.

The main accommodation option for tourists is guest houses made of wood with verandas, which are very comfortable and have everything you need for a good rest: beds, small kitchens, televisions, bathrooms, a shower and even Russian stoves. You can also choose a larger house - hunting or new. Larger cottages are designed for 10-12 residents and are equipped with comfortable beds, places for cooking, seating areas with upholstered furniture and TVs, toilets and showers.
Infrastructure recreation center "White Mountain" (Kamenka)
The entire infrastructure is thought out with special care so that tourists are satisfied with the rest and return here again. Each building is created in a traditional Russian rustic style. The paths and walkways at the White Mountain base in Kamenka are tiled. Around there are numerous flowerpots with flowering plants.
There is a walking area in front of the beach. The whole territory is kept clean and equipped with changing rooms, sunbeds, umbrellas, a bridge for diving. Water activities are available for a small extra charge.

Cafe "Brigantine" in the form of a ship and a summer open cafe "Bereg" in the native Russian style are designed for 80 and 100 seats, respectively.
It offers a fairly large assortment of dishes and drinks for guests. Vacationers of the “White Mountain” in Kamenka note that the cuisine in both cafes is very tasty and satisfying, at affordable prices. Most of all tourists here like Russian soups and meat and fish dishes.
What to do for adults and children at the base?
The recreation center "White Mountains" in Kamenka accepts vacationers all year round. In summer, there are excellent conditions for a beach holiday, gazebos and verandas for barbecue and sun terraces. There are conditions for outdoor activities: two football fields, a volleyball court, paintball area, ping-pong table. You can take a walk in the woods, ride a catamaran, a boat on a pond or go to explore the surroundings on a quad bike. Of particular charm in these places is fishing. In the clear waters of the pond and lake, grass carp, red-eyed, crucian carp, carp and carp are found.
Children are delighted with the small zoo where camels, horses and ponies, roe deer, rabbits, guinea fowls live. All animals have a well-groomed appearance, it is noticeable that they are loved and cherished here.
For younger guests of the base you can rent rollers, bicycles and scooters, badminton.
In winter, snowmobile rides and a Russian bathhouse alternating with rubbing snow are offered. You can rent or bring your skis, sleds, cheesecakes and ice-skates to ride on a roller coaster with a breeze. At the camp "White Mountain" in Kamenka, conditions are created for ice skating and playing hockey.
How to get to the base
The camp site is located on the 59th km of the Penza - Tambov highway. How to get to the "White Mountain" (Kamenka) by your own or public transport? By private car from the Tambov highway you need to turn left according to the sign and drive 1 km to the next sign, there take the last left and overcome another 1 km along a good asphalt road right to the base.
By public transport the route is possible with a change. Regular buses and fixed-route taxis run regularly from Penza to Kamenka. The ticket cost is approximately 160-200 rubles. In Kamenka you need to change to the second bus (or taxi), which will take you about 20 minutes to the base in the village of Zalesnoye.
