In the service of the investigation bureau, the mentalist uses all his abilities to solve crimes. Patrick Jane feels when a person is lying, notices even the smallest details at the scene of the tragedy, and with one ridiculous question can confuse and entice the truth. And all this, of course, with an amazing smile. This is not an exemplary civil servant, not a simple cop, but a person who has his own methods of work at the crime scene. These methods are brilliantly simple and do not always fit into the framework of a common understanding and law, but they absolutely work.
Patrick does not forget for a second about the main goal - to avenge his family. Therefore, as soon as Bloody John appears on the horizon, Patrick Jane tries by all means to find him. But the criminal seems to be playing with the mentalist, forcing him to solve complicated puzzles or to follow the false trail. On the way to his goal, the hero has to fight with the imitators of the famous maniac, save people, solve mysterious crimes.

Of course, one cannot cope with such a task, and a whole team works with Patrick. The detective and the head of the slaughter department Teresa Lisbon is a faithful friend and ally of the mentalist. Although she is often against Patrick's non-standard ideas, she is undoubtedly ready to cover up in any situation. Kimbell Cho is an active Asian who happily accepts Jane's ideas and takes them into development. Sweet couple Wayne Rigsby and Grace Van Pelt helps Patrick with all his endeavors. And without a doubt, this team will succeed.
Simon Baker
The actor was born in Australia in a family of a mechanic and an English teacher. Simon's relatives had nothing to do with cinema, and the young man himself wanted to connect his life with medicine. However, after several shootings in the supporting roles, the nurse’s career went into oblivion.
Since 1997, Simon starred in many TV shows and feature films. The first popularity he brought the series "Los Angeles Secrets", which subsequently received an Academy Award.
