Happy childhood
Evgenia Voskoboinikova was born on January 10, 1984 in Voronezh. She was very active from childhood, studied well at school, was engaged in public work, had many friends. Her childhood, despite the difficult times in the country, was a happy one. The family did not have much wealth, but there was love and care.
Years of study
Having graduated from high school, Evgenia Voskoboinikova entered the Voronezh State University with a degree in ecology. She studies brilliantly, goes to the "red diploma" and at the same time works as a model. Eugene now recalls that stage of life with surprise. She says that she had distorted moral and life values. There were many fans around, but there was no true love. She came to the modeling business out of a desire to earn money, and she succeeded, but life in this world was too limited. Today, she does not communicate at all with former girlfriends-models, since their interests have diverged greatly. At 20, she was interested in a career, hanging out a lot, became the winner of the Lady Perfection 2005 contest and thought that her life was going well. But everything changed in a matter of moments.
Fatal blow
On February 17, 2005, the modeling agency celebrated its birthday; after the party, five young people got into the car, including Evgeny Voskoboinikov. The accident occurred instantly: the driver lost control and crashed into a tree at great speed. Everyone received injuries of varying severity, Zhenya had a broken calving of the spine, which led to paralysis of the lower extremities. She underwent two operations, but her mobility was never returned. Eugene said that at first there was despair, she thought that life was over, she began to gain weight, did not want to leave home. But at one point I realized that at 20, life did not end and began to learn to live in a new way. According to her, to reconcile with her position is difficult, but you can get used to and learn to live in the proposed circumstances.
Life after the tragedy
Despite a large number of difficulties: getting used to the stroller, unfriendly urban environment, misunderstanding of people - Zhenya begins to communicate, engage in journalism. Voskoboinikova Evgenia has been working for a year as a leading column on book novelties at the Voronezh television station “Gubernia”. Zhenya learned to drive a car, although it was very difficult, she was used to contacting strangers for help. Her life after the accident has changed dramatically, but she says that the tragedy helped her to rethink her life and learn how to use it fully and for the benefit of others.

Once, Zhenya participated in the broadcast on the Silver Rain radio along with Irina Khakamada, and she was heard by Natalya Sindeeva, director of the Dozhd television company. She called Eugenia and invited to work. Zhenya became a news anchor and correspondent for the social section. Evgenia Voskoboinikova, a photo of which can be seen in fashion magazines and in materials about successful people with disabilities, together with Dozhd, is actively working to create the right attitude for people with disabilities, she takes part in campaigns to build ramps and helps to implement a program for employing people with disabilities.
Active position
Evgenia Voskoboinikova, whose biography is forever connected with people with disabilities, leads a very eventful social life. She went with the disabled athletes to the Paralympics in London, was a commentator there. Zhenya is an active participant in the Bezgraniz Couture movement, which defends the rights of people with disabilities, teaches people that people with disabilities do not need pity, but they need help and the possibility of socialization. The movement conducts fashion shows for people with structural features of the body and Eugene is the face of the competition and its host. She also worked in the jury of the "Cinema Without Barriers" film festival, she travels a lot, communicates with friends.
Eugene Voskoboinikova was able to prove with her life that a disabled person is the same person as everyone. In the social network, she met her future husband and was able to give birth to a daughter Marusya.
