Meanwhile, the theater is an integral part of the formation of a truly intellectually developed person. Therefore, it is so important to know what interesting performances there are for high school students, to which they can nevertheless be reduced.
Children's Theaters of Moscow
In many theaters of the capital, various performances are successfully held, which can be watched by children. Before listing some of them, it’s worthwhile to dwell in more detail on Moscow children's theaters - because they specialize in both performances for teens and performances for kids.

Stas Namin is widely known to a large audience (especially those who are older) as the leader of the "Flowers" group. However, he, among other things, is also the creator of the first musical theater in our country, which bears his name. At the Stas Namin Theater, children and their parents can watch the beautiful musical The Little Prince, based on the work of the same name by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. Wonderful choreography, amazing tricks, beautiful scenery, magnificent work of the director and actors - this is what awaits those who come to the performance. In the musical "The Little Prince" the leading actors of the Stas Namin Theater are occupied - such as, for example, Andrei Domnin, Yana Kuts, Ivan Fedorov and others.

"The Cherry Orchard"
Another option. Chekhov's "Cherry Orchard" is being played in several Moscow theaters at once . The directors love this production for unquenchable timeliness - written at the beginning of the last century remains relevant now.
You can watch this performance for teenagers in Moscow, for example, at the Pushkin Theater. There, for almost three years now, director Vladimir Mirzoev has been staging. The Mayakovsky Theater also staged Chekhov's “Cherry Orchard”. Spectators enjoy the production of Andrei Konchalovsky’s “Cherry Orchard” at the Mossovet Theater. The performance lasts almost three hours, and among the leading actors such artists as Anna Kireeva, Anastasia Busygina, Sergey Kolesnikov, Valery Abramov, Elena Svanidze and so on are announced.
"Doctor Chekhov"
In the theater at the Nikitsky Gate there is an excellent performance based on the works of Anton Pavlovich. This is the play “Doctor Chekhov” - the so-called theatrical fantasies. The director Mark Rozovsky carried out a truly titanic work - "shoveling" the mountains of literature, he not only restored Chekhov's heroes on the stage, he made them alive, and two hours pass in the hall just unnoticed. It is not for nothing that critics call this work “performance-research”.
The production is performed by leading theater artists - Alexander Karpov, Margarita Rasskazova, Vladimir Piskunov, Yuri Golubtsov, Olga Lebedeva. From the stage, viewers can see a re-enactment of such Chekhov's stories as “The Diplomat”, “Vanka Zhukov”, “I Want to Sleep,” and others. The Musketeers
Another performance for teenagers can be called “The Musketeers” (or “Three Musketeers”) with confidence. Who did not read in childhood books by Alexander Dumas! Who did not fight in fierce battles next to the brave D'Artagnan and his friends! At all times, the adventures of these heroes are close and understandable to boys and girls, and therefore this performance is always in demand.
You can watch the life of desperate musketeers and enjoy a wonderful game and fencing at RAMT - the production of Andrei Ryklin lasts exactly two and a half hours. Also, visitors to the Chekhov Theater have a chance to watch the unforgettable heroes of Dumas; however, you need to be prepared for the fact that there the performance is not an example more - as much as four hours and forty minutes. True, the production provides for two intermissions. For the first time in this theater, this performance took place two years ago, in the fall, so we can say that this is a relatively new performance. In addition to its length, its peculiarity lies in the fact that the director Konstantin Bogomolov, creating his own idea, did not use the text of the great French classic. Based on it, a new plot was created, which is inherent in love, and a detective story, and mysticism ... To understand the whole idea of ​​the director, you need to watch the performance! In addition, wonderful actors play there - Danil Steklov, Igor Vernik, Victor Verzhbitsky, Irina Miroshnichenko, Rosa Khairullina and others. Already seen the production note that you can not remain indifferent. Regardless of whether you like the "thrash epic" (such is the subtitle of the play) or not, you cannot agree that this is not like anything and no one else.
In addition to RAMT and Chekhov’s theater are “Three Musketeers” and Stas Namin. In his interpretation, this is a musical production. Good songs, good actors, good plot - what else is needed for a wonderful performance? For two and a half hours, the audience has the opportunity to enjoy such actors as Yana Kuts, Alexandra Verkhoshanskaya, Oleg Litskevich and many others.
“Who made the miracle”
For fifteen years, the RAMT’s repertoire has included yet another stunning performance for adolescents - “Made a Miracle”. It is based on a play by William Gibson - the story of a real man, a female scientist Ellen Keller. Due to illness, while still a child, she stopped seeing and hearing, but, nevertheless, she was able to graduate from one of the most prestigious universities in the world - Harvard, and became a linguist, mathematician, writer and teacher. She really did a miracle, having achieved the impossible: she learned to read and speak, swim and ride a bicycle ... In a word, she proved that the possibilities of a person are endless, you only need to really want to achieve something. About this - about human capabilities and faith in oneself, faith in the best - and a wonderful performance was staged by director Yuri Yeremin.
A performance with the same name takes place in the theater at the Nikitsky Gate. For two hours, the audience has the opportunity to empathize with the fate of Ellen Keller, while enjoying the game of Nikolai Glebov, Natalia Kalashnik, Mikhail Ozornin, Vera Desnitskaya, Ekaterina Vasilyeva. Despite the fact that the production is allowed to be watched from the age of sixteen, many parents bring to the performance even decades - and, as they assure, the children see what they see only for the future.
"Undergrowth"
In the same theater, there is another play for teenagers based on the play by Denis Fonvizin “Undergrowth”: “Undergrowth. RU ". The old story in a modern way - that’s all it takes to attract the attention of the children (as an example: the play uses the music of Cord, the leader of the Leningrad band). And the relevance of the play in all ages has been and remains huge! The production lasts for two hours, it involves Alexander Panin, Irina Morozova, Stanislav Fedorchuk and other no less remarkable artists.
Those who love the Maly Theater, you can go to the "Undergrowth" there. This performance has been going on its stage for quite some time - more than thirty years. Its duration is almost two and a half hours, and actors such as Olga Abramova, Mikhail Fomenko, Vladimir Nosik, Maria Seregina, Alexei Kudinovich and others can be seen in the performance.
Of course, these are just a few of the performances for adolescents existing in Moscow. The assortment of performances is incredibly wide - it would be a desire, but there is something to go!
