Carp bait

Bait for crucian carp is simply necessary, because this fish is by its nature quite lazy, and if you do not lure it in advance, then you will not have to rely on large trophies.

Crucian carp lives in almost all water bodies, even in small clay and rocky quarries where there is no vegetation. The bait for crucian carp depends on the type of the reservoir, which is determined, first of all, in accordance with the type and food base of the habitat of this fish, as well as with the season and the gear used.

There is always a lot of varied feed in grassed ponds for crucian carp, so in such an environment it leads a measured habitat, moving only along certain feeding paths between specific places. Usually in such places it is almost impossible to lure this fish from its bait route.

You just need to find his “canteen”, specify the time of feeding, and then feeding for crucian carp will have positive results: the catch in this case is provided for a long time. Only two or three handfuls of dry, water-dipped hercules, barley, and brown bread will be enough to lure and hold the fish.

In warm and calm weather, very often schools of these fish walk on the surface, rising above the thickets. In such cases, the best bait for crucian carp is maggot, whose larvae can be glued with milk powder. It is better to throw the resulting lumps with your hand about twenty meters to the place of fishing.

In reservoirs that are not rich in vegetation - reservoirs, river bays, deep rates - the food supply is much poorer, therefore, the behavior of fish is somewhat different than in wetlands or overgrown places.

Bait for crucian carp in such cases is simply necessary to keep the school of fish in places of feeding, and it is necessary to know exactly the time of day when they approach the coastal vegetation.

Typically, crucian carp visits such places early in the morning, and with sunrise the sun already rolls deeper. In such ponds for fishing in the morning, the most usual bait is suitable, which may include breadcrumbs, ground anise, wheat bran, cake and seeds.

Bait for crucian in spring should have a high satiety. At home, a mixture of oats, steamed wheat, hemp and canola is made for this purpose. In order for it to have a lasting effect, the composition is diluted with ballast - earth, sand or clay.

Bait for crucian carp is also sold in specialized stores, but when buying, you need to remember that for every fishing you need up to five kilograms.

Very often catching crucian carp is difficult because of its small neighbors - bleak, rudd or roach, which eat complementary foods before crucian carp. In such cases, you need to fill it up at the time of the day when this riding fish sleeps: in the late evening or at night, and in the morning just feed the chosen place a little.
A feature of carp fishing is the fact that it can be fed directly during fishing. To ensure complete naturalness, you can add maggots or worms to the rolled up balls of food, the aroma of which will not leave this fish indifferent, which instantly gathers in the right place. The best option is to bait in several places that need to be changed periodically.

A mixture of corn, boiled potatoes and oatmeal, usually mixed with corn juice, is also a good bait for crucian carp. No less promising is the bait, consisting of bloodworms and friable earth taken from the shore of a reservoir. It is placed in a gauze bag, lowered to the bottom. In this case, a small turbidity is formed, which attracts fish.

Crucian carp needs to be fed in a day, and in two or three weeks the fish will sail to the right place.
