ZIL-4331 - a truck with a diesel engine. In the 70s of the twentieth century in the Soviet Union, the government decided to produce diesel-powered trucks.
Two plants - ZIL and KAMAZ - were scheduled to implement this program.
In 1981, on the basis of the ZIL-169 car, a new model of the machine with the ZIL 4331 index was built.
In the new product, the bumper of the original form is used, headlights and sidelights are mounted in it. We performed a volumetric radiator lining, which occupied the entire width of the plumage, and the plumage itself was shortened. Material for facing was taken lightweight plastic ABC. Subsequent upgrades were associated with the rearrangement of cabins of new models of cars on the chassis of the old.
