In the period of passion for contractions, another one was born - Youth Theater. So began to call the theater of a young audience, on the initiative of Lunacharsky created in Moscow in 1920.
Having barely appeared, the theater became extremely popular. The transcript of the Youth Theater was heard by everyone. The People's Commissariat of Education decides to expand this undertaking. Many theaters of the same name appear in all major cities of the country.
I must say, it was a unique solution in the world of the theater world. Before that, there were no children's theaters. Pieces for children were staged, but children's drama, as a direction of theatrical activity, did not exist.

"Three Musketeers"
Creativity, humor, enthusiasm - this is the transcript of the Youth Theater during the performance of the Moscow Three Musketeers theater. The premiere took place in 1974, the performance became a cult for Moscow creative youth. It is put all over the country and abroad, success is guaranteed.
Twenty-seven-year-old V. Kachan plays eighteen-year-old D`Artagnan. The text asks him how old he is. He replies: “You will not believe. Eighteen". Hall applauds. The whole performance was filled with such small cheerful additions to Dumas.
His main idea is friendship, for which the heroes are ready to give their lives. Honor, a forgotten concept, rises on the stage and grows in receptive children's hearts. These spiritual human values became the magnet that attracted the performance.
In 1978, the same creative group makes a three-part film with Mikhail Boyarsky in the same scenario. Again a resounding success. The whole country sings the songs of the musketeers, the children play with makeshift swords and read out Dumas. TYUZ, decoding of an abbreviation, becomes not a dry name. This is the banner of the theater of youth.
"Romeo and Juliet"
In the seventies, based on the play by M. Roshchin, they staged "Valentine and Valentine." This is the eternal Shakespearean plot of lovers, when relatives stand an insurmountable barrier in life. And again, a wave of productions of this play is taking place across the country, a film is being shot, school and folk theaters are not inferior to the famous houses.
Now the Nizhny Novgorod Youth Theater holds in the repertoire the play "Romeo and Juliet." The viewer is holding his breath. It seems that this is all happening now. This is the only way to talk about love, especially to young people. Decoding TYuZ does not allow any falsehood and vulgarity to enter the stage. It is impossible. This is understood even by the youngest theater illuminator.
The performance is in Saratov, Tomsk, Donetsk Youth Theater. Whether the director transfers the action in our time or the actors play costume roles - the essence does not change.
Not so important, what is called TYuZ. Decryption is the same for the whole world. Now there are Youth Theater in any country. But the first is still Moscow. Take the time to go play for teens. And you will see how much better they put for children than for adults.
