Material needed

Preparatory stage

Prepared parts are assembled into rectangles and fastened with eyelets or wooden spikes. The connection must be W-type. Holes can be hollowed out with a chisel, some cut with a jigsaw. The groove width must be at least 20-30 mm and the depth 50 mm. Spikes or eyes must be lubricated with carpentry glue, then connect and align them at an angle of 90 degrees. Then the elements should be fixed using a special device until completely dry.

A wooden bed with such a frame is a reliable and high-quality product, it is an example of a traditional carpentry joint, as experienced joiners call it. If you can’t make eyelets, you can use a stud mount to connect wooden parts. Headboard and legs

It is necessary to ensure that the upper edge of the legs does not protrude above the partitions.
When the bed is wide enough, it is recommended to install the fifth leg in the middle of the frame. For this, an additional longitudinal board is required, to which the leg will be attached.
The final stage

At the beginning of work, it is necessary to thoroughly sandpaper the entire bed frame, then soak the entire surface with linseed oil and cover it with paint.
