Not so long ago, one of the leaders of the Podolsk organized criminal group, the authoritative businessman Nikolai Pavlinov, was arrested in the Moscow Region. Also Nikolai Pavlinov is known as Peacock. However, no matter how authoritative he was, a criminal case was instituted against him under part 1, 2, 3 of Art. 210 of the Criminal Code. According to investigators, Pavlin and his accomplices illegally acquired the right to state property located in the Chekhov district. Nikolai Pavlinov (Peacock) is accused of fraud committed by an organized group in the period from 2011 to 2016. According to investigators, Nikolai Pavlinov and his accomplices stole federal land worth 11 billion rubles.
Biography of Nikolai Pavlinov
Date of birth of Nikolai Pavlinov 04/06/1957. He was born in Russia. Almost every resident of Chekhov at least once, but heard this name, and many even knew what kind of person he was. In the 90s, Pavlin was already a protege of Sergei Lalakin, the leader of the Podolsk organized criminal group. The only thing that prevented Nikolai from becoming the leader of the organized crime group, according to one of the participants, was that Pavlinov served in the Soviet army and was not a prisoner until recently. Unfortunately, the photo of Pavlinov Nikolai Borisovich at a young age is almost impossible to find, since the criminal life did not allow taking pictures.
In the late 90s, few key figures of the group survived. Thus, the peacock became the only watcher of the area. Also, over time, the criminal basis of organized crime groups gradually flowed into the legal one, and the leaders of the group began to occupy senior positions in the government.
The development of Podolsk organized crime group
The activities of Lalkin and Pavlinov have a long list. On their accounts, crimes such as currency swindling and car sales, robberies, even there is evidence of contract killings. Over time, the Podolsk organized criminal group crushed large commercial enterprises in the Podolsk, Chekhov and Serpukhov districts. At that time, Oleg Strekalov, nicknamed Zika, was Pavlin's right hand, but there was also an assistant nicknamed Moor.

The group developed and replenished with new members. One of them was Boris Ivanyuzhenkov, nicknamed Rotan. He organized sports clubs "Vityaz" in Podolsk and took over the presidency of the club.
The Vityaz organization was established in 1996. The foundation of the club marked the beginning of the sports movement of the Podolsk organized criminal group. Under the name "Hero" appeared various sports clubs, sections, bases, complexes and arenas. In the documents, the names of Lalakin and Pavlinov almost never appeared. However, this did not stop them from being the unofficial owners of the club at that time. He did not like to make joint photos of Pavlinov Nikolai Borisovich with his accomplices and did not particularly at first advertise his warm relations with the club.
In 2003, Vladimir Khryunov appeared in Vityaz and took the position of promoter Povetkin and Lebedev, organizing the battle of Maskaev against Francis. Khryunov constantly stated that certain investors give him the opportunity to conduct such fights, but he did not name them. It is not difficult to assume that they were Lalakin and Pavlinov. And Khryunov did not give their names most likely because the invested money was obtained illegally.

Over time, a football club and hockey team called Vityaz formed in Podolsk and Chekhov. Pavlinov gained his sympathy for boxing in the late 2000s. Then he already owned the Vityaz hockey club. In the same period, players appeared on the team whose main goal was the elimination of dangerous forwards. So there were fist fights. The audience loved this game. After all, the team wins or arranges a fist fight. For such a game and Pavlinov’s instructions, the team received warnings more than once.
But most often the club owner ignored them and even encouraged them on the contrary. One of the vivid confirmations of this is the game in 2010 in the match “Vityaz” - “Vanguard”, the fight happened already at 6 seconds of the match, and in 2011 the match “Vityaz” - “Dynamo” began the usual brawl for “Vityaz”, even the coach participated who beat the fans of the Minsk club with a club. The fight became so serious that riot police had to intervene to stop it.
Players were not limited to fights on ice. One of the summer evenings in a heavy alcoholic intoxication, the Vityaz players took part in a fight at a wedding, beating up a company of people who were nearby.

The former player of the Vityaz team said that the club’s views themselves were pushing for fights. He also said that Nikolai Pavlinov himself always went with weapons. Before the match, drunk people with weapons fell into the locker room and threatened with reprisal in case of defeat. By the way, in one of these situations, the player Bayev, after he missed 5 goals in a row, men with weapons rolled for a long time in the woods. Baev immediately terminated the contract and left for Germany, fearing for his life.
Revenues from the hockey club apparently did not cover the costs. When Pavlin’s money for maintaining the team ran out, Mikhail Golovkov became president of the team. The team’s game has changed dramatically: constant fights have ended in the arena, and “Hero” has turned into a regular hockey team.
Reasons for the detention
According to the operatives, they decided to take up the actions of the already legal organized crime group only after Zika actively began to withdraw her funds abroad and support the 2014 coup in Ukraine. Zika in his Kiev hotel had members of the "Right Sector", and there was one of the headquarters. Strekalov was summoned for interrogation, and he immediately fled the country. Peacock was given the conditions under which he was to return Strekalov to the territory of the Russian Federation. However, he did not succeed.
After Pavlinov was granted the conditions, a year passed. He was arrested by the FSB. He was charged with organizing a criminal community and embezzlement on an especially large scale.
