Hugo - socionics type and its features

The history of such an interesting science as socionics began with the works of famous scientists C. Jung and Z. Freud. In the early stages, Freud suggested that a person has consciousness, subconsciousness and preconsciousness. And Jung then developed this idea, determining that these components of the psyche can be filled differently in different people, and even a newborn child has a certain “fullness”.

Currently, socionics means the science of different perceptions and different processing of information by different people. This is the doctrine of "informational" metabolism.

Hugo Socionics

The socionics of Hugo is a description of only one of the psychological types, the total number of which reaches sixteen. And each species communicates with the environment in its "information" language. Moreover, these communications are so different that the words of one person can be understood by others quite the opposite. Jung associated these differences with the fact that some people perceive reasoning better (the basic function of the psyche is thinking), others perceive feelings, others have better intuition, and fourth have developed sensations.

Victor Hugo

If we recall the biography of the writer Victor Hugo, we can find out the main features of the socionic type. It is believed that he was a great romantic, which contributed to travel to Paris in early childhood. In adulthood, his house, where funny feasts were held, was open to numerous guests. Therefore, the generalizing characteristic that Socionics gives to the Hugo type can be expressed in the phrase “man-holiday”.

A detailed examination of the psychological type tells us that Hugo is an extrovert of an ethical-sensory form. I must say a few words about what C. Jung understood by extraversion / introversion. According to his teachings, the first is the individual's inward orientation, and the second is the transposition of a person's interests inward. This does not mean that introverts are closed silent types. They simply do not like communication for the sake of communication, but they are willing to build contacts for the sake of new contacts or knowledge. It is also noted that pure introversion or extraversion does not exist. Each person has those and other characteristics.

Thus, Hugo Socionics refers to those who like to be in the circle of a large number of people. The ethical-sensory component assumes that a person of this type seeks to bestow all his mighty cheerful energy, create an atmosphere of unsurpassed fun for those around him, and make their life comfortable and happy. Type Hugo subtly feels the beauty and condition of others. He is able to give every detail the desired look, decorate any interior, understand and help the needy.

For Hugo, socionics reveals such interesting components as the ethics of relationships - he can shame so that the offender will not have the opportunity to resist, and also the force sensory - the preservation of personal space, which is not easy to take away from this type. It is also difficult to get him to do something if he does not want to.

Socionics classifies the weaknesses of Hugo as a sense of time - he makes poor forecasts, is worried if he needs to arrive by a certain date, and does not like to be slowed down or driven up. This is perhaps the only drawback of the type, because otherwise, he is a creative person, a good businessman and organizer.
