Throwing knives is a fascinating activity for serious men. This is a sport that requires some physical preparation, attention, concentration, hard training. At the same time, throwing blades is a real martial art. Knives for throwing, daggers and stilettos with a short blade - all these are the surviving representatives of the "family" of edged weapons. So any blade thrower who, in the company of friends will say about his hobby, will certainly receive his portion of attention, respect and admiration.
You can throw any knife, even a table knife, but only as an entertainment, for example, to pierce a portrait of a harmful boss hanging on the wall, an enemy or a poster of a bored pop artist. A professional thrower needs a real throwing knife.
Fighting blades are lost even with a successful hit, so they are considered a single-use weapon. First, a newcomer to the art of throwing must achieve a confident entrance and hold the blade in the target, the so-called “sticking”. Of the ten knives thrown at the target, at least seven should remain stuck in the target. Only then can we begin to perfect the accuracy of the hit.
Training will look like repeated repetition of the same action, and then analysis of all the smallest details of the throwing technique. By the way, the exact result depends not only on a good technique, but also on the psychological state of a person, on how well he is able to concentrate, on his endurance and self-control. Of the physical qualities, a novice athlete should have only good coordination of movements, everything else he will gain during training, working out not only the throwing of the knife, but also the remaining phases of throwing: swing, work of the brush, adoption of the starting position.
