In just a few years, this social network has become one of the most popular in the world. Now it’s hard to name the exact number of users, because many people prefer to have two, three, or even more pages. It can be said with confidence - this is the world. A kind of planet, inhabiting which we find new friends, interlocutors, business partners, and some, they say, even manage to meet their soul mate. And if one morning we wake up and realize that we have blocked the Contact, it seems that the soil is leaving under our feet, or air access has been sharply blocked.
How to be? And how to solve this problem in the shortest possible time? I want to talk about all this in an article.
Part 1. Blocked Contact. What do we see on the page?
In the event that due to some circumstances you are unable to access your page, or it turns out that it was blocked for spam, one of the following two messages may appear on the screen.
- It will talk about spam. Unknown "well-wishers" will ask you to send an SMS to a specific mobile number, or through the terminal to pay the amount necessary to unlock. In addition, you will be threatened with deleting the page after some time, usually in two or three days.
- You will learn that the site administration had to temporarily cover your page because it was hacked and spam was actively sent from it. In this case, it will be enough for you to change the passwords: the page itself and the mailbox.
Part 2. Blocked Contact. What to do?
Let's look at both of the options above.
1. Blocked Contact due to spam. You have become a victim of scammers. The social network Vkontakte positions itself as a free resource, the administration of which unanimously states that for ordinary users it is not introduced, and no fee will be introduced in the future. Even in the case of spam. Therefore, if you are required to pay even the smallest amount, this is a sure indicator that the virus has “settled” on your computer and you need to urgently take all necessary measures.
Of course, it is recommended that you locate and destroy the infected file as soon as possible. This is not at all difficult to do. Open drive C on the computer, find the Windows folder inside. Are you done? Now go to "system32", "drivers", "etc", and finally "hosts". The last file must be opened using notepad, and only after that it will be possible to proceed to the deletion. What exactly needs to be destroyed? All lines in which there are entries relating to the sites vkontakte.ru and durov.ru, as well as empty lines, if any.
After the events, the message sent by scammers will not bother you anymore, and you can easily log back into your profile on your favorite site.
Further, I would like to advise you to do the following:
- immediately change passwords both on the Vvkontakte website and on the email account associated with it;
- install (or update) an antivirus program;
- scan your computer for other viruses;
- set a status that informs your friends that the information received from you is spam and it is not recommended to open it for security reasons.
2. Blocked Contact due to hacking. Your page has been closed by the site administration and you are accused of sending spam, although you have no doubt that you did nothing of the kind? Well, it happens. If you are sure that there are no viruses on your computer, then there is a fairly high probability that your profile has been hacked.
In this case, all your friends at the same time receive a huge amount of the same type of information, or else tags are put on your photos.
Nothing wrong! In a few days, access to the page will be restored.
Sometimes it happens that you enter your password and login, but the page throws an error saying that the data is invalid. What blocked the Contact in this case?
There can be only two explanations:
- you actually forgot your username or password;
- you have been hacked.
In both the first and second cases, it is recommended to click on the link provided at the bottom of the page, complete the entire list of events proposed by administrators, and be sure to change passwords.
