Synergetics in philosophy, its past, present and future

The word "synergetics" owes its origin to the ancient Greek "senergia", which means assistance, cooperation and complicity. Synergetics is studying the so-called, interdisciplinary, non-science-specific research area, which masters the general processes of transition of chaos into an ordered state and vice versa. It is also used in chemistry, physics, biology, ecology, social and many other sciences.

The basic concepts of synergetics were introduced into use by the German physicist Herman Haken in the seventies of the last century, although the term itself was created by the English physiologist Sherington in the nineteenth century. In his long-standing work Synergetics, Haken noted that for many disciplines, the cooperation of different parts of the same system always leads to the creation of macroscopic structures or functions that subsequently cause changes leading to self-organization.

Synergetics in philosophy, social and natural sciences is engaged in a systematic approach and argues that in addition to space and time, objects are constantly in some definite relationship, which causes the emergence of new properties that objects themselves do not possess.

Only about two decades ago, synergetics was a toy of the mind for theoretical physicists, 10 years later this approach helped experimentally identify many remarkable phenomena, and now it is becoming the basis for advanced technologies, it is constantly used in strategic planning, and contributes to the creation of computer models. where synergy is displayed in philosophy, sociology, psychology, biology and many other areas.

However, with the beginning of using the basic concepts of synergetics, an unnatural contradiction was created between clear and beautiful general concepts and the complexity of their use in any specific systems. For the simplicity and unity of the views of synergetics, its supporters now have to pay a rather high price. The very recent “theory of everything” —that individual humanitarians had imagined — the synergetics in philosophy and other sciences could not offer any concrete results and new methods.

A number of researchers reject this trend. They seriously expect that synergetics in philosophy is simply obliged to finally acquire the status of philosophical science, and perhaps even replace dialectics. However, those who intend to continue to contemplate the synergetics in philosophy on the previous natural-science basis, consider that the philosophy of science is not science at all, and it does not have to become an essential part of the latter. Scientists who adhere to this direction are increasingly turning to the idea of a new paradigm of synergetics. Perhaps not so general and accessible, but much more specific and deep. It is worth paying attention to the individual steps that are being taken today in this direction.

To date, scientists do not have a satisfactory answer to the question of where does the basic concepts of synergetics end and something else begins. Researchers are trying to deliver and add to what synergetics study, everything that they liked in their own sciences. And some judgments can be safely expressed today.

It can be assumed that one of the tasks of modern synergetics will be a superdisciplinary analysis of general scientific ignorance and goals that you can set for yourself. Surprisingly, until now, scientific and philosophical attention is almost not paid to the main problem of science - the awareness of the fundamental strategy of philosophy and science, the answer to the global question of modern knowledge about what we can, are going to and should know. What price is our world ready to pay for it and how it can change it. Moreover, the aspect of value here seems no less significant than the target.
