"Volgovskie" organized crime groups of the 90s: composition, photo

The “Volgovian” group of the 90s of the last century is one of the most dangerous gangs in the country. On her account there are many thefts, murders and cases of racketeering, which inspired fear both in Tolyatti, where the Volgovskie organized crime group, and the whole country. The echoes of the 90s are still heard on the streets of the city with suddenly revealing traces of their crimes.

Background

In the very beginning of the 90s around the Volga Automobile Plant - AvtoVAZ - a fierce confrontation began for the right to possess this gold mine in a new world, broken with the collapse of the USSR. The key weapon in a country plunged into anarchy was physical strength.

Whoever walked on their heads and used it, doors were opened for him, as it seemed then to everyone, to real power and wealth. They could afford the unimaginable luxury of those times, which is eloquently told by the recollections of eyewitnesses and preserved photos of the “Volgovskaya” organized crime group, a gang of the 90s that acted precisely under such laws. The struggle around the plant claimed the hundreds of lives of everyone involved. The Volgovskie organized crime group, having struck up a friendship with the Slonovskaya organized crime group from Ryazan, entered into a bloody confrontation with Naparnik, the leader of the Tatar group during the war for the plant. The confrontation spilled over into rivers of blood on the streets of the capital of the domestic automobile industry.

History of creation

The Volgovskaya organized crime group, a gang from the 90s, was created by the Volga Hotel employees - from there its name was taken. Alexander Maslov and Vladimir Karapetyan were engaged in the sale of spare parts stolen from AvtoVAZ. With the deficit that existed since perestroika, there was an unlimited opportunity to speculate on its price.

In this way, revenue was formed for the gang. Sergey Kupeev and Alexander Bashev joined her, to whom Kudely's worker, who was extorted by one Konyaev, soon turned for help. The latter was killed during the proceedings, but members of the organized crime group were soon detained. After serving a short time, in 1993 Maslov freed himself and set about forming his gang as opposed to his partner, whose group lost many of its members. Maslov lured the people of his rival to his side, having got Valery Spitsyna (Dangerous), Dmitry Ruzlyaev (Bolshoi). In 1992, the full composition of the “Volgovskaya” organized crime group in Togliatti was formed.

At the beginning of the journey

In the same year, a car factory was corporatized, which opened up opportunities for the Volgovskaya gang to organize their own companies selling AvtoVAZ products. By concluding allied treaties with the groups of Kupeyev, Mokrov and Bilichenko, Maslov thereby prevented the possibility of a conflict with them. However, towards the end of 1992, the gangs of Agia and Voronetsky took over the seizure of power in Togliatti. In September of the same year, killers of these groups killed Bilichenko, and in November Kupeyev.

Volgovskaya gang

On November 13, 1992, at the entrance to his own house, the leader of the Volgovskaya organized crime group Maslov was killed. Killer Sergey Shilov was inflicted 2 gunshot wounds in his back. Following this high-profile crime, the arrests of Agia, Shilov and their subordinates took place. Voronetsky was soon killed, according to assumptions, members of the Kupeyev gang in revenge for the death of his leader.

Second criminal war

The history of the “Volgovskaya” organized crime group with the death of Maslov continued under the leadership of Dmitry Ruzlyaev (Bolshoi). She began to operate under the name "Ruzlyaevskaya", continuing to steal AvtoVAZ spare parts, followed by speculation on their implementation.

In 1994, the Volgovskaya organized crime group confronted a gang of Shamil Daniulov, who was the leader of the Tatar organized crime group and an ally of his partner. Ruzlyaev made a decision to eliminate the enemy that appeared by arresting him by law enforcement agencies.

The Volgovskaya OCG managed to attract the head of one of AvtoVAZ workshops Bolotov. He took up the discovery of Tatar hiding places with spare parts ready for shipment stolen by them. Daniulov, learning about this, eliminated Bolotov with the help of the killer Yalkin.

This decision turned out to be rash, because after the murder the Tatars lost their influence in AvtoVAZ. Ruzlyaev acquired his new face at the factory - Shamil Mityaev, who was engaged in collecting money from Tatar customers and intercepting their contracts. Mityaev was also killed by killers of Yalkin, after which they were arrested by the police and imprisoned for long periods.

Third criminal war

In 1996, many members of the Ryazan "elephant" gang were arrested. Some were testified against the "Ruzlyaevskaya" organized crime group, and in 1997 Ruzlyaev was detained near his own home. Under him, firearms were found, however, they released him pretty soon with a recognizance not to leave. He hid until 1997, when he was again convicted and sentenced to 2 years of probation. In the same year, the chief financier of the Volgovskie organized crime group, Andrei Mochalkin, was killed, and a couple of months later, Sergey Bakunov, who replaced him, was also killed.

The confrontation began with the Chechen gang, which used to be friendly to Ruzlyaev. Having laid eyes on AvtoVAZ, the Chechen leader Shamad Bisultanov strove to get rid of Ruzlyaev, but soon Shamad got into a car accident in which he died.

The murder of Ruzlyaev

The confrontation with the Partner did not subside either. So, in 1998, the leaders of the “Kupeyevskaya” gang, who were allies of the “Volgovskys”, were killed in the Afghanistan Veterans Fund. Ruzlyaev conducted an investigation in this regard, but as soon as the names of the killers were identified by him, in April 1998, four unknown people shot him at once. Members of his gang, along with Multik (the name of one of them) were at the scene just a couple of minutes later and rushed in pursuit. They shot two attackers and detained one, who was beaten half to death, and then shot. Despite this, he survived. The cartoon tried to find the pulse of Ruzlyaev, who was in the back seat of the car. He was sure that Ruzlyaev was still alive. His friends, having loaded him in a car, rushed to the hospital, but the admission department noted the death of Dmitry Bolshoi. Thus ended the life of Rulyaev, who was the leader of the Volgovskie organized crime group for 6 years.

This was a blow to them, they lost the leader in the minute of the most acute confrontation with a partner. Loss actually meant their loss. The new leader, Vadim Startsev, was soon killed. The same fate befell his successor - Eugene Ishimov in 1998.

Sunset

With the death of the leader, the collapse of the gang began. In turn, the remaining leaders of the group were killed: in a short time, Vadim Startsev, Evgeny Ishimov, Vladimir Karapetyan, Evgeny Sovkov were eliminated. The same fate befell their allies, for example, Miron Mokrov, the leader of the Mokrovskaya organized crime group.

Recent operations

The last leader of the group, Evgeny Sovkov, 6 months before his own death, it was decided to take revenge on the main enemy of the gang, which had been operating for many years, Dmitry Ogorodnikov. He was a police major and led the anti-organized crime group. In May 2000, he was destroyed by Sovkov’s killers in his own car.

Counter Attempts

In the last stage of its existence, the group shot the director of Lada-TV Ivanov. It was he who, being an employee of the local media, tried to uncover gang fraud at the factory, bringing their scheme to the audience. Of course, the gang members did not like it. The thundering murder was widely publicized throughout the city. After about two months, Loginov, the editor-in-chief of Lada-TV, was thrown from the roof by unknown persons.

At AvtoVAZ

The creators of the local newspaper Togliatti Observation suffered the same sad fate. At the last stage of the gang’s activities, the murders of the director of the fish factory Labintsev and the owner of the Interpharm pharmacy chain Zemtsova thundered. Each of these operations was performed by the best killers of the group - Sergey Ivanov, Alexey Bulaev, Alexander Garanin, Andrey Milovanov, Sergey Sidorenko. And later, closer to the end of 2000, Sovov was killed by Milovanov - in Moscow, when leaving the Krasnopresnensky baths with his girlfriend. Killer decided that Sovkov paid him little for the killings, but immediately after arriving in Tolyatti from Moscow, Milovanov himself was shot dead. The remaining gang members were arrested in 2001.

Court

In 2003, a conviction was sentenced to members of the once formidable gang. Everyone received a long time, and the last 4 killers operating before 2001 received a life sentence. It is known that some members of the gang are at large and are actively engaged in business.

In 2007, Vladimir Pchelin, the former leader of the Volgovskie organized crime group, was detained. In July of that year, he committed suicide while in jail. Thus ended the era of bloody strife, which claimed the lives of more than 90 people. The echo of those wars is still responding in the area of the city of Togliatti, however, more and more in the form of terrible stories about the dark past of these places.
