A gang, a gang, an organized criminal group, or organized crime group - from the beginning of the 80s to the 90s, these words were familiar to everyone. Criminals terrified not only businessmen and entrepreneurs, but also ordinary, ordinary citizens. One of these many groups was the Lyubertsy organized crime group.
Occurrence
It is believed that the formation of this organized criminal group occurred around 1986 in the city of Lyubertsy in the Moscow Region, or rather, it was then that it became known about it in wide circles. Members of this organization were called "lovers." Initially, a group of young people who are fond of weightlifting and bodybuilding, beat young people different from it. The members of the organized crime group hated foreign hard rock, and indeed all foreign music. Therefore, under the attack of criminals mainly punks, rockers, hippies and other representatives of the subcultures existing at that time fell. Sami "Lyuber" loved to listen, of course, chanson, thieves songs. He also liked the work of the groups "Dune", "Lube."
The "lovers" had their own uniforms - these are checked trousers. Later they began to dress simply in tracksuits.
Authorities support
It is noteworthy that the Lyubertsy organized crime group advocated for the socialist system. One of its slogans used by members in a pointed manner, in public, was "Socialism at all costs!". According to the members of the organized crime group, hatred of Western values was based on the fact that they destroy the socialist society of the USSR. Manifestations of nationalism also manifested themselves in the "Lyuber".
Perhaps because of this position of the Lyubertsy organized crime group to the socialist system, they were supported not only by the Lyubertsy city committee of the Komsomol, but even by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the KGB. Moreover, it is believed that these organizations indirectly took part in the formation of this gang.
Gang evolution
Over time, the Lyubertsy organized crime group, from a small one that trades with small thefts and robberies, beatings and extortion from small businessmen, gradually began to develop into a well-organized criminal group that has a reputation in the thieves' world. Constant clashes with Moscow "brothers", taking control of a larger business, helped the gang organizers recruit more and more fighters into their team.
The leader of the Lyubertsy organized crime group, Sergei Aksenov, together with Alexander Bobylev, created a large organization with a certain hierarchy and internal structure. The rumor about the Lyubertsy lads reached even the United States, where at that time a trial was taking place on the well-known Russian criminal authority nicknamed Yaponchik. There is an opinion that S. Aksyonov (Aksey) and A. Bobylev (Papa, Raul) contributed to the intimidation of jurors in that process, since the thief in law Jap was one of their patrons.
According to other sources, one of the founders of the criminal group was Sergey Zaitsev (Zayats), to whom the Lyubertsy organized crime group owes its formation. Zaitsev’s photo is still located in the Titan sports club, well-known among bodybuilders.
Primary activity
The main activities of the organized crime group were, along with robberies and thefts, also the arms trade, extortion, which moved to a higher level of racketeering. Big businessmen became objects.
The organized crime group consisted of 18 separate brigades, each under the direction of a certain authority. In total, the size of the group was determined within five hundred people.
The final formation of an organized criminal group from Lyubertsy occurred in the nineties. Even then, the “lovers”, who had previously been defeated by Chechens, rallied and began to constitute a serious force.
Group links
Despite the constant wars between groups over the redistribution of spheres of influence, the Lyubertsy gang quite actively maintained relations with such large organizations as Izmailovskaya, Balashikha gang. Aksenov and Bobylev were in close contact with Otari Kvantrishvili and other thieves in law, criminal authorities.
In addition, the leaders of organized crime groups have established international relations with the criminal world of the United States and Germany, Hungary and Israel. In particular, together with the Chechen group “Lyuber” controlled the import of cars into the CIS from far abroad, and also had their own interest in buying up land and real estate abroad.
It is noteworthy that at that time the organized criminal group did not have a thieves' common fund.
The so-called curator of the "lovers" was the thief Oleg Shishkanov (Shishkan, Oleg Ramensky), with whom the group leaders later had a conflict. At present, Shishkanov is most likely hiding in Europe.
Controlled Areas
In 1992, the already well-established and fairly large, authoritative group of “lovers” met with another strong organization - the Dolgoprudnensky organized crime group. At a gathering of the criminal authorities of these groups, the territory of Moscow and the Moscow region was divided into controlled zones. Such areas of the Moscow Region as Voskresensk, the city of Lyubertsy, Dzerzhinsk, Kolomna and others fell under the sphere of influence of the Lyubertsy organized crime group. They "roofed" the 19th Moscow taxi fleet, all retail outlets in controlled areas, part of the casino and car service in Ramenskoye. In the capital itself, under the influence of the "lovers", the Rita restaurant-casino, the Victor casino, and some other objects fell.
Such vast controlled zones very soon began to decrease due to the emergence and growth of other groups, forcing the "lovers" to make room.
The gathering points were the Lyubertsy Stadium (traditionally since the sports past) and local careers. The leaders are criminal authorities, they liked to organize meetings in institutions controlled by them, such as the casino "Victor".
War with competitors
Like all similar groups, the Lyubertsy were also affected by gang war. The group’s existence was divided into periods of relative calm, ceasefire and armed clashes, which for the most part took place in determining the zones of influence.
High-profile murders and assassinations occurred in the late 90s. So, one of the foremen Avilov was seriously wounded on March 24, 1994. Another leader, Vladimir Elovsky, was killed in September 1996, the authority of Dmitry Poluektov was also killed two years later, and his leader Vladimir Kuzin was dangerously wounded. This is only one of several murders of large participants in the organized criminal group, while small fighters of the group died even more often.
Decay
By the end of the 90s, the Lyubertsy organized crime group ceased to exist as a whole group. The brigades separated from her, taking with them the zones of influence for which they were responsible. The criminal organization broke up into 10-13 separate groups. Among them, there were still those who still had sufficient influence in the criminal world. This is a group located in Lyubertsy itself, in Malakhovka, Dzerzhinsk, Lytkarino.
The internal affairs agencies, which arrested the most influential members, contributed to the reduction and separation of the gang. The trial of the Lyubertsy organized crime group sent many of its active members to places of deprivation of liberty, including Aksey, Mukha (R. Mukhametshin, later crowned as a thief in law), Crow (V. Voronin). The sentence of the Lyubertsy organized crime group forced his many other active members to serve their sentences.
After the breakup of a powerful group, some of its members switched to other gangs, including Chechen ones, despite the fact that the Lyubertsy group had rather tough relations with the latter in the late 80s, sometimes turning into armed clashes.
