All over the world, passenger and cargo flights are now in demand more than ever. A319 (airbus) is by far the most common type of aircraft.
Historical reference
Airbus A319 was developed in the design bureau of the French concern Airbus Industry. The basis for the creation of a new type of aircraft was the Airbus A320. For this, the model was shortened and 120 passenger seats were placed on it (7 rows were removed). Then the new modification received the A320M-7 index. Later, she was assigned the A319 index.
Tests began in 1990. However, officially the program for the development of a new type of aircraft did not begin until May 1992. After conducting research on the aircraft sales market in 1993, designers began work. The first prototype of the Airbus A319 was built in 1995, and in August of the same year it took off. In March of the following year, the concern received an aircraft type certificate. The first of its kind, the A319, was acquired by the Swiss airline SwissAir.
Currently, most of the leading airlines in Europe, North America and Asia operate this type of aircraft. Since 2003, A319 began to be listed in the fleet of Aeroflot - the Russian national carrier. In the same year, the Airbus Industry concern signed an agreement with the Irkutsk and Nizhny Novgorod aircraft plants on the production of A319 elements.
Since 1996, about 2 thousand units of A319 type aircraft have been produced. The cost of one unit is about 86 million dollars.
Modifications
Airbus A319 exists in four versions.
A319-110 is the basic modification. It has CFM56 engines. So with CFM56-5A4 engines, the model was named A319-111, CFM56-5B5 - A319-112, CFM56-5B6 - A319-114.
A319-130 is developed based on the base model. Installed AeroEngines engines type V2500. With engines V2522-A5 is called A319-131, and with V2522-A5 - A319-132.
The A319-LR provides for additional fuel tanks. Due to this, the flight range can be increased up to 8000 km.
The A319-ACJ (also known as the Airbus Corporate Jet) is a business aviation aircraft. It has a superior lounge with a shower room, gymnasium and meeting room. Designed to carry from 10 to 50 air passengers with a VIP layout. The cabin can be converted for 100 passengers, as VIP modules can be dismantled. The maximum flight range can reach 12,000 km.
Design Features
The airliner A319 (airbus) is a narrow-body twin-engine freighter low-wing. In the manufacture of an all-metal aircraft body, composite materials are used.
The design provides for a retractable three-leg chassis. There is a bow rack. The tail of the standard type. Turbofan jet engines are located under the plane of the wings. The wings are swept in shape. The fuselage type is a semi-monocoque with a round cross-section, which is 3.95 m in diameter.
The aircraft is equipped with digital avionics EFIS, as well as the A320 modification. In the design of the information fields of the cockpit, color multifunction displays are used (there are 6 in total).

Airbus A319: the best places, the scheme of the cabin
If we talk about the layout of the cabin, there are several schemes. Basically, they are designed to carry from 120 to 156 passengers. Almost every airline has its own. Let us dwell on the most general scheme.
The standard scheme of the Airbus A319 requires only one class of service.
The best and safest on this scheme of the cabin are seats located at the very beginning of the cabin and in the emergency ranks. Most air carriers also have a business class for passenger service, which is located at the beginning of the cabin, which in itself makes these places the most comfortable on the plane.
It is worth noting that the seatback on the first emergency row does not recline. The distance between the seats in the emergency rows is increased.
According to statistics, the most uncomfortable chairs are near the toilets at the end of the cabin.
All seats are quite comfortable, as they are equipped with built-in pillows. The height of the backrest can be easily adjusted. The plane is not so noisy compared to other airliners.
A319 (Airbus) is the most popular medium-range narrow-body type of aircraft. It is operated in most airlines in the world. The A320 family is recognized as the safest aircraft, so the demand for them will be at a high level for a long time to come.
