The Cherry Orchard Theater on Sukharevskaya is closely connected with the play by A.P. Chekhov. It is no accident that its name is identical to the name of one of the plays of the classic of Russian literature. Founding the collective, A. Vilkin, as an artistic director, strove to create his own artistic space, where creative questions were based on civil and moral principles, which the great Russian writer A. Chekhov preached in his plays, as in life.
