The Gorky Automobile Plant, located in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, was opened in 1932 already very distant from us and continues to function to this day, delighting domestic and foreign consumers with cars of fairly high quality. One of the advanced innovations of the enterprise is the GAZ-330811 Vepr car, which we will examine in detail from a technical point of view in this article.

This car is four-wheel drive and is capable of carrying both people and various loads. GAZ Vepr was specially designed and developed for use in rather difficult climatic conditions, which are very characteristic both for the Russian Federation and other CIS countries. The machine reliably performs its functions in an external environment that has indicators such as:
- The temperature range of operation is in the range from -50 to +50 degrees Celsius.
- Highlands up to 4500 meters above sea level.
- Passes up to 4650 meters.
GAZ Vepr is produced in two main versions:
- Passenger - the number of seats along with the driver is eleven.
- Cargo and passenger - the machine is capable of transporting about one and a half tons of cargo and five people (including the driver).

GAZ Vepr cars, by their very nature, present a somewhat shortened version of the GAZ-33081, equipped with a modular body made of solid high-strength alloyed metal. "Vepr" is absolutely unified and aggregated with machines like "Sadko" and optimally combines all the best qualities of an SUV, as well as a fairly comfortable minibus.
GAZ Vepr, the photo of which is given below, is provided with wide-profile tires, the size of which is 12.00R18. In addition, aluminum inserts are available at the top of the rear bumper, on the side sills and the areas between the wings and the front bumper. These protrusions allow you to stand on them and carry out maintenance of the engine.
The rear bumper is box-shaped and has built-in powerful lights. It is intentionally made of two components in order to facilitate access to the towbar as much as possible, which, in turn, is fixed to the frame.
“Vepr” has a winch with a mechanical drive, which has a pulling force equal to 4.5 tons. The cable has a length of 50 meters. The lifting unit is installed in a specially designed compartment located on the front bumper. The designers provided for the possibility of installing an electric winch. Also on the front bumper is the so-called kenguryatnik, which, in addition to providing protection for the headlights, additionally gives the car solidity and impressiveness.
In the roof of the car there are two hatches that provide not only additional ventilation, but also, if necessary, the possibility of firing, standing from the passenger compartment. Hatches can also be used as an emergency exit in non-standard situations.

GAZ Vepr has either 3 or 5 doors, depending on the version. The windshield provides the driver with a good panoramic view and perfect control over the road.
The dashboard is thought out to the smallest detail, and the steering wheel does not violate access to the existing instrumentation. If necessary, the tire pressure can be adjusted without leaving the cab using the steering column switches.
Convenience of management is provided by the presence of a hydraulic steering wheel drive and an original brake system equipped with a vacuum booster.
In general, the cabin design has become much better compared to its predecessors: in the presence of sun visors, coat hooks and other little things. In the winter season, the cabin is heated by two heaters.

"Vepr" is equipped with a motor type D-245.7, which, in turn, has the following parameters:
