The plot of the series
Fernando Sucre was born and raised in one of the disadvantaged areas of Chicago. His mother, Francis, fearing his son will have problems with the law, sends him to live with his aunt in New York, where his life is changing for the better. He finds a permanent job and meets a beloved girl named Maricrus. Wanting to impress her, Fernando robs the store.
Having decided to make a proposal to his beloved and not having money for an engagement ring, Fernando repeatedly tries to rob the same store. However, he is handed over to the police by a cousin Hector Avila, who is envious of their relationship with Maricrus.
For the robbery, Fernando Sucre is sentenced to five years in prison at the Fox River Prison, from which it is impossible to get out. There, he meets with Michael Scofield, who deliberately goes to prison to save the life of his brother Lincoln Burroughs, sentenced to death.
Michael is preparing an escape plan, knowing the features of many Fox River premises. He once worked at a prison facility planning firm. Sucre dreams of returning to her beloved, therefore she also agrees to escape.
Continuation of the series
The fourth season of the series ended with the death of Michael Scofield, who heroically saved his beloved Sarah. However, in the fifth season, viewers find out that he remained alive.
After seven years, one of the former prisoners accidentally discovers a photo in which he sees a person very similar to Michael. Lincoln, along with Sarah and other old acquaintances, including Fernando Sucre, are sent to a Yemeni prison, where Michael is supposedly located.
A new escape is planned to free Scofield's innocent. Michael really wants to return home to his son and a quiet life. The escape succeeds, but the real hunt begins for the fugitives.

The actor Amori Nolasco Garrido, who played the role of Fernando Sucre in the series, was born in Puerto Rico on December 24, 1970. After receiving the specialty of biologist at the University of Puerto Rican, he went to New York to study dramatic art.
