History
The Drama Theater "Involvement" was born on its professional holiday - March 27. The year of its foundation is 1990. The appearance of the new theater became a significant cultural event for Moscow. Wonderful artists were selected by the creator and leader of "Participation". The theater recently celebrated its 25th anniversary. Now luminaries and very young artists are already working here.
Today, a very interesting and serious repertoire, consisting of the best examples of drama, both domestic and foreign, offers the audience "Participation". The theater puts on plays by A. N. Ostrovsky, G. Figueired, F. M. Dostoevsky, W. Gibson, F. G. Lorca, I. Zhamiak, A. P. Chekhov, M. Gorky, W. Shakespeare, P. Calderon and others. All productions instantly and easily win the love of the public.
This theater also did not disregard small spectators. Igor Mikhailovich Sirenko - Honored Artist of the RSFSR - founded "Participation". The theater was created in 1990, as already mentioned above.
Igor Mikhailovich was born in 1940 in the city of Mariupol. All my life I dreamed of becoming a theater actor. In 1957 he graduated from the circus school in Moscow with a degree in Clown by the Carpet. But the craving for the theater did not leave the young man. And he entered the famous school named after B.V. Schukin, at the acting department.
After that, Igor Mikhailovich devoted sixteen years to work in the Vl. Mayakovsky. During this time, I. Sirenko played more than thirty roles there. Critics noted his vivid manner of playing, incredible temperament, originality and his vision of images.
The directorial debut of Igor Mikhailovich was the play "The Third Rocket" based on the novel by Vasil Bykov. It happened in the theater named after Vl. Mayakovsky, in which he served as an actor.
In 1979, I.M.Sirenko was appointed to the post of director at the A.S. Pushkin Moscow Theater . He served there for four years.
In 1983, the Culture Committee of the capital sent him to study at the Higher Directing Courses at GITIS. After their successful completion, Igor Mikhailovich was appointed the next director of the Moscow Drama Theater named after N.V. Gogol. Soon the troupe elected him as the director.
In 1990, I. M. Sirenko created his own theater under the name "Participation". His performances have become significant events for the capital. Critics note that Igor Mikhailovich as a director is able to subtly feel the time.
In 2004, Igor Mikhailovich was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Russia.
I. M. Sirenko is not only the creator, director and director of the “Involvement” theater, he also goes on stage and plays complex dramatic roles.

"Involvement" is a theater that often holds various events for its viewers. Three times a month for visiting his productions there is a discount for students of metropolitan universities. They can purchase tickets for performances at half price. A purchase must be made no later than two days before the event. To receive a discount, it is necessary to present a student ID at the box office. For each performance, no more than four preferential seats are allocated due to the small size of the auditorium.
