In our pragmatic and mercantile time, it is rare to meet people who are capable of noble deeds. However, strangely enough, even among the homeless, there are people who are able to come to the aid in difficult moments, despite the fact that they themselves are far from in a better position. And even athletes, whose life is in constant struggle with rivals, sometimes do things worthy of respect in relation to their opponents and people who have nothing to do with sports.
Homeless sponsor
A man named Gimjibhai Prajapati was the owner of a tea shop, but due to circumstances he went bankrupt and became homeless, forced to beg from passers-by. However, this did not stop him from accumulating the necessary amount to buy new clothes for the eleven Indian girls attending the school for the poor. The sad fate of the former businessman could not change him, and he continues to do things worthy of respect, helping the needy as much as possible. It is noteworthy that the clothes for girls came from an unknown sponsor, since Gimjibhai did not advertise his involvement in this, the sender's name was revealed later.
Rescue a baby in a parking lot
No less impressive is the story of a homeless Gary Wilson who finds himself at the right moment in the right place. His decisive actions and a selfless kind heart prove that the actions of people worthy of respect are not only material assistance to those in need, but also the ability to take responsibility at the right time and do something that has never been done in life, and thereby save someone then life.
The story happened in 2012 in the state of Oklahoma in the parking lot of pickups. Young man and a woman arrived there and began to desperately ask for help. The woman gave birth on the road, but not quite successfully: the baby was strangled by the umbilical cord, wrapped around her neck. We did not have to count on a timely arrival of an ambulance: the road was every second. Arriving in time to help the tramp Gary, with the help of an emergency inspector's instruction, he did everything perfectly, so the newcomers could only thank the savior. Such actions worthy of respect, not everyone can do.
Capital Olympian
At the Sochi Olympics 2014, there was also enough room for nobility. The trainer of Canadians Justin Wadsworth turned out to be a real gentleman. Without any hesitation, he rushed to the rescue when he saw an athlete in need of help. It was the Russian skier Anton Gafarov, who broke the ski in the sprint race, but continued to participate in the competition. However, fate put him one more bandwagon - on the descent, the athlete fell great. But this did not stop Anton: he again stubbornly moved to the finish line.
Waddling exhausted, almost on the same ski, he was spotted by Justin Wadsworth, who, without knowing who was in trouble, immediately arrived in time with a spare. Kneeling, he unfastened the broken one and installed a new ski. During the replacement, both did not utter a word. Such actions of athletes, worthy of the highest degree of respect, show the true essence of the Olympians.
Saving the drowning is the work of ... leaders of the sailing regatta
Yana Stokolesova and Anastasia Guseva, yachtsmen of the Russian national team, were leaders in the sailing regatta when they suddenly heard a cry for help. The girls immediately changed course and moved to the voice, soon seeing a drowning man. The abandoned life buoy did not help: the exhausted poor fellow could not cling to him. It seemed just another moment - and the irreparable happened. And then the athletes, having made a desperate maneuver, approached the drowning man and dragged him aboard the whole team. Immediately rescued was taken to a hospital near the beach, fortunately, the coastal line was familiar to the yachtsmen by heart. Not everyone could quit the race as leaders and rush to the aid of an outsider, but for these girls, someone else's life was more expensive than fame and medals, so these are truly deeds worthy of respect.

Naturally, the athletes lost the regatta, but then they were not up to it. The survivor turned out to be a Moscow coach, who went out on his own yacht to the sea, where he was thrown overboard.
