The series "Red Mountains" (actors: A. Bardukov, E. Tsyganov, M. Kozhevnikova, P. Derevyanko, E. Dyatlov) was released in 2013. Its creator, director Igor Zaitsev, in fact, continued the theme of military films, very popular in Russia today. Igor Zaitsev works in cinema as a screenwriter, actor and director. He shot several rating films, including “High Security Vacations”, “Chkalov”, the second part of the film “Saboteurs”, as well as the multi-part film-biography “Yesenin”, which was loved by the audience.
The film "Red Mountains" seemed to be shot in the Soviet years, the scenery and costumes were selected very carefully, and for the filming in Moscow, it was necessary to completely change the appearance of one of the metropolitan areas to resemble wartime. But the main intrigue of the film on which he rests is the theme of fraternal friendship between completely different social status guys - Ilya Rogov (Alexey Bardukov) and Arkady Engelhardt (E. Tsyganov). The war greatly changed the characters of the guys, and fate continually throws them complex moral tasks that they have to solve on their own. One of them is to remain yourself or betray all principles, including loyalty to the country.
Leading actors
The fate of two people, whom history is testing for strength, was very well able to convey in their game Russian actors Alexei Bardukov and Evgeny Tsyganov. In the filmography of Alexei there were already several patriotic roles in such films as "Saboteur", "Fight of local significance." Basically Baidukov got the role of detectives or poor guys. The key turn in the fate of actress Maria Kozhevnikova was the role that she got in the series. In the "Red Mountains" Kozhevnikova was played by the daughter of the red general Zhenya, and it is she who will later become the cause of contention between two inseparable friends. The girl became famous thanks to the TV series "Univer", but after the film "Red Mountains", actors, colleagues and critics considered a storehouse of talent in Mary. That is why two years after the release of the series, she was offered one of the roles in the film "Battalion", with which Masha brilliantly coped.
Minor role performers
The appearance in the film of Pavel Derevyanko was unexpected . The actor is easily given even the most complex genres. No matter what characters Pavel gets, he gets used to the image instantly, reincarnates, is born again. In "Red Mountains" Derevyanko played gold miner Valery Voronov.
