- in many models there is a back, but it is purely symbolic. If in the traditional version the back can reach the shoulder blades, then in the stool it is literally 10 cm high;
- the seat and backrest, if it is nevertheless provided for by the design, should be uniform: this way the stool will be more reliable;
- the stability of the structure depends on the quality of the supports or legs, so a bar stool with legs will be lighter, and if there is one support, it will be massive and heavy.
What material to choose
Modern manufacturers offer a wide range of bar stools, which are made of different materials, which makes it possible to choose the best option for a specific interior. If the room or establishment is decorated in the Russian style, it is better to choose a wooden round bar stool. The dimensions of the seat are often small, since this element of furniture is simple and concise. Wood is an excellent material, as it allows you to translate any design ideas into reality, and a favorable microclimate will be created in the room.
A beautiful solution is metal stools, however, it’s not so easy to move them, and they will fit in a minimalist style of interior decoration or hi-tech. Plastic products at low cost are not in high demand, especially if they are chosen for interior design of an apartment or a country house.
