"Wheel" is a theater (Tolyatti), which began its career at the end of the 20th century. His goal is to engage in an active dialogue with audiences of all ages using art. His repertoire includes performances for both adults and children.
Theater History
"Wheel" is a theater (Tolyatti), which has existed since 1988. They were entrusted with the People's Artist of the USSR Gleb Drozdov to assemble a team and take over the leadership. He had students who were ready to follow his teacher to the ends of the world, and they formed the basis of the troupe. Four artists from those who arrived with G. Drozdov in Tolyatti, still serve in the "Wheel". The city administration provided the troupe with a building for work, supported financially and provided housing for the artists.
It took Gleb Drozdov less than a year to create a theater. This is a record time.
The troupe almost immediately began to tour not only in the Soviet Union, but also in other countries. Everywhere the artists were very well received.
In 2000, died Gleb Drozdov. His departure was an irreparable loss for the team. A year after this tragic event, the Wheel Theater was named after him.
In 2002, A. Morozov took the place of the chief director. This is a representative of the famous dynasty of artists.
"Wheel" is a theater (Tolyatti), which has its own characteristics. Actors here serve on a contract basis. The team is independent in financial and economic activities. This model of work has not been used in our country before. The Wheel is the discoverer.

Projects
