The famous TV presenter was born on February 9, 1962 in Moscow. Since childhood, the boy devoted a lot of time to sports, fond of football and hockey. At one time, Alexey Pimanov even tried to play in Lokomotiv, where he became a candidate for master of sports. Today, he often recalls how, returning from training, he tapped and clicked on the stairs with his skates, literally falling from his feet from fatigue.
In his youth, Alexei liked to play the guitar, especially when his family, as was customary at the time, celebrated a holiday at the table, whether it be March 8 or New Year.
After graduating from school, the future famous journalist entered the Technical University of Communications. In 1989, he received a diploma, and then continued his studies at Moscow State University. In 1992, he received his second profession as a journalist.
Carier start
Alexey Pimanov got a job at a television center, where he began with the duties of a technician. His first serious position was a video engineer. Then he began to engage in cinematography, and from 1989 he went to the editorial office of public and political projects on Central Television, starting as the host of the program called Steps.
Since 1990, Alexei Viktorovich was appointed special correspondent of the VID. Then, for two years, he worked on his own program, “Behind the Kremlin Wall,” in which he was both the host and the director.
Since 1993, Pimanov headed the studio "Resonance" at the State Radio and Television. And two years later, in 1995, he tried himself as a producer, taking up such programs as “Sport News” and “Football Review”, “Seven Days of Sport” and, finally, “Man and the Law”. Soon Alexey Pimanov, heading the Ostankino shopping center, became its general director and permanent leader.
Production activities

Aleksey Pimanov, whose biography is very multifaceted, is only angry at the difficulties that arise in life, believing that they make him move on.
Currently, the journalist is the author of several programs. In addition, he produces twelve projects created by his television company. The most famous of them are Lubyanka, Man and the Law, Secrets of the Century, Health, Army Store, etc. Today Ostankino is one of the largest suppliers of television programs for Pervoy.
Personal life
The famous TV presenter is married for the third time. His first marriage took place at a very young age, when he went to the registry office with Valeria Arkhipova, an economist by profession. Soon, their son Denis was born, who today already graduated from the director's department of Moscow State University of Economics and works in one of his father's projects. And recently, Pimanov appointed him the chief director of his favorite program, "Man and the Law."
But this marriage was destined to break up. Ten years later, Alexey Pimanov, whose personal life was always in the background for him, married Valentina Zhdanova, editor of Central Television. After marriage, the spouse took her husband's surname. She became known to viewers after her joint programs “Idols” and “Woman's World”, as well as for the program series “Behind the Kremlin Wall”. From this marriage, Pimanov had a daughter, Dasha, who also followed in the footsteps of her parents. After graduating from the Institute of Television and Radio, she became the author of a series of documentaries called “The Birth of a Legend” that appeared on Channel One.

But the second marriage of the fifty- two- year-old TV presenter, producer, filmmaker and politician broke up. He divorced Valentina to marry actress Olga Pogodina.
Connected this couple their joint work. About five years ago, they together shot a film called "The Man in My Head." Alexey was a director, and Olga acted as one of the producers, moreover, played the main role. The crew presented the finished work even in the women's prison. The idea belonged to Olga. Motivated by a noble desire, on the eve of the Eighth of March holiday, to somehow support those women who found themselves behind a barbed wire in a difficult situation, she persuaded then just a colleague to go there.
Later, when Olga was asked how she worked with Pimanov, because he is very strict, she joked that good films are born only in love! But then the public thought that Pogodina had in mind their creative union, since the romantic component of the relationship was not advertised by the couple.
Office romance gradually grew into a beautiful family union. Alexey Pimanov and his wife did not arrange any wedding celebrations. They secretly signed and did not tell the press about changes in their personal lives.
Olga Pogodina generally does not like to advertise her personal life. In 2007, she got married, but a few years later her marriage broke up.
Rumors or reality
For a long time, the public perceived the relationship between Pogodina and Pimanov only as rumors. After all, the marriage of the TV presenter with Valentina seemed to many a strong and prosperous one. He spoke about the changes in the life of Alexei his son Denis. It was he who confirmed that his father is now married to actress Pogodina. Alexey Pimanov, whose children perceive divorce as his personal affair, split up with his second wife very intelligently: without quarrels and scandals.
Political activity
Alexey Pimanov was a member of the Public Chamber 2010-2012 convocations. In addition, he was elected Member of the Supreme Hural of the Republic of Tuva. In 2013, he became a member of the Federation Council from this republic and a member of the Defense and Security Committee. However, in October of that year, the senator, part-time journalist resigned in connection with the transfer to another job. Pimanov did this of his own free will, thereby proving how much his profession meant to him.
Interests and hobbies
The famous TV presenter continues to play football and hockey, as in childhood. He is closely acquainted with many famous athletes. And when he goes on the ice with Fetisov and Kasatonov, sometimes he is surprised by their skill.
Pimanov also plays tennis well. In addition, he is fond of political science and history, loves animals and often gives his wife flowers, sometimes even armfuls. Two dogs and a cat live in his house.
In 2012, according to Forbes magazine, Pimanov and his wife took the 100th place in the list of families of Russian officials in the income ranking.
