Talented actors: Freud’s Method - a step in their career

One of the new psychological detective films released in Russia was created according to the order of Channel One. Although all the actors played great, the Freud Method in question became a kind of hit thanks to the famous showman, and part-time actor and former priest Ivan Okhlobystin.

The series consisted of 12 episodes, each of which lasted three quarters of an hour. It was originally planned that he will appear on the screens in the fall of 2012, but this happened a little later, which did not reduce the interest of the audience in him. After all, two necessary conditions were met: the basis was a soundly written script; the protagonist turned out to be almost perfectly written out: on the one hand, he is unpleasant to the viewer, and on the other he attracts with his incomprehensible charm, because he is an extraordinary personality, he has self-irony and wit and, importantly, he is smart.

Who are you, Freud?

The protagonist of the series - Roman Freidin (Freud) - is a special consultant in the investigation department of the prosecutor's office. He gives useful advice (this resembles Sherlock Holmes himself) not only to police officers, but also to prosecutors. This helps a lot in solving many complicated cases. But unlike the legendary English detective, in his work Roman uses not the deductive method, but personally developed the "Freudian method." He is an excellent psychologist and a professional poker player (although he is never seen at the card table in the picture), who has a broad outlook.

The investigation is interesting for Roman because it requires logical thinking, just like playing poker. To recreate the portrait of the criminal, he applies scientific methods. And, very importantly, he is able to predict the actions of a person who has transgressed the law. He is also a real provocateur. He can bring the criminal to a frank conversation, not aggressively provoking him, because this is a precisely built logical game. The rest of the characters in the series played by great actors, Freud’s Method do not always understand. But they cannot but admire the result achieved by Roman, because their colleague easily reveals complex and confusing matters.

Lt. Col. Korablin

But Ivan Okhlobystin, who brilliantly performed the role of Roman, is not the only magnificent find of the directors. There are still talented actors. "Freud's method" without them it would not have turned out so vivid and memorable.

Natalya Antonova in the series played the role of Freud’s new boss, the head of the investigative department, Lt. Col. Anna Korablin, counselor of justice. This is a young beauty who is very liked by a psychologist. In communication with her, he uses all the same techniques - rejection and provocation. Anna is indignant at this attitude, but at the same time, Roman is attracted to her. This situation scares her a little. They have one thing in common: both try to keep their lives under control. Anna's father dies, she is depressed and does not think about love. Suddenly, Roman appears next to her, and their constant conflicts are replaced by sympathy for each other, or even quite the opposite ...

Up to this point, Natalya Antonova had no experience in playing the roles of operatives, and the detective genre was unusual for her. In an interview, she said that her heroine, Korablin, is a well-educated and intelligent woman, and that playing a smart person is not easy.

At work, Anna uses the support of her boss, police lieutenant colonel Vyacheslav Galchansky (Arthur Vakha). Yes, the actors who played in this series are great. "Freud's method" gathered under his shadow a strong creative group.

The path from Maxim Morozov to Sergey Nevezhin

Another interesting character in the series is Lieutenant Sergey Nevezhin, who serves in the department of Anna Korablena. He is a very decent 28-year-old guy, smart, but not very confident. Pavel Priluchny, who embodied this image on the screen, is already known to viewers in roles in other series: Closed School and Major.

Prior to the role of lieutenant, Paul did not have similar characters. He used to play boys, but now his hero has to solve rather difficult tasks. Nevezhin is well-educated, as the actor talks about his hero, he is sincere and naive, but more a theorist than a practitioner. When he meets Freud, he begins to involuntarily reach out to him, because Roman gradually broke all the stereotypes that Nevezhin studied at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Vitya Pernitsky and Lida Fadeeva

An ardent opponent of Korableva in the series is Viktor Pernitsky. He is a 30-year-old police captain, marks for the place of Anna. But Anna took him solely on her own merits. When Freud comes to the department, the performance of the department improves. This situation further enhances the hatred and envy of Victor, not only to Anna, but also to Roman.

The role of Pernitsky was performed by actor Alexei Grishin. He is a graduate of the Moscow Art Theater School, since 1998, has been serving in the troupe of the Tabakerka Theater.

Another department employee is trainee Lida Fadeeva (played by her actress Elena Nikolaeva, a graduate of GITIS). She came here to work from the position of press secretary of the police department and is a direct subordinate of Pernitsky. At the same time, she is fascinated by Freud and is ready to help him every minute.

Not like the others

Of course, viewers are already familiar with the series, the heroes of which are law enforcement officials. Over the years, paintings in which there are murders and various crimes can be seen on the screen often. But there is a significant difference between this series and the rest: the actors of the series “Freud’s Method show not only people who have violated the law and their punishment, but also situations in which these people become criminals.

Not all villains actually caught with experience. There are ordinary, good people who just found themselves in a difficult situation and are confused in their lives. It happens that they just need to help deal with problems, and not be put in jail. It was to the latter that Roman Freudin never resorted.

The team creating the series Freud’s Method did a great job. The actors and their roles in this picture were indescribable. Each series was filled with special energy and an interesting plot, which was simply impossible to break away from.
