Gazelle "Farmer" is an excellent variant of a truck that combines the carrying capacity of a regular Gazelle (1.5 tons) and the capacity of a minivan. Judging by its name, it is easy to guess for whom it is intended. But in practice it turns out quite differently: this truck is not more popular with farmers, but with repair crews. After all, what other car can simultaneously deliver to the place of work all the staff and all the necessary materials, as well as equipment for work? GAZ 33023 "Farmer" is characterized by a relatively low price and availability of spare parts.
Release
Serial production of new items started back in 1995. In its appearance, it was not much different from the on-board GAZelle 3302. At the moment, the production of these machines at the Gorky Automobile Plant has not stopped. Over its long period of existence, the novelty has undergone many changes. In 2003, the second generation GAZ 33023 (Gazelle "Farmer") was developed . It differed from its predecessor in the design of the cabin, namely, rounded headlights and a new shape of side mirrors (popularly, it received the nickname "big-eyed" Gazelle). In 2010, an updated series of small-truck models was launched, called the Business Gazelle.
Cab specifications
The main feature of the GAZ 33023 is a double cabin that can accommodate six passengers. It consists of two rows of seats: on the first there are two passenger seats, on the second - as many as four. Unlike the 3302, the novelty has a high cab. Its equipment is the same as that of the GAZ 2705 minibus. A comfortable atmosphere is immediately felt in the cockpit. Indeed, the Farmer’s cabin is almost 2 times larger than that of other GAZeleks. And if the car is used in the transportation of inter-regional and international cargoes, the rear row of seats can easily be converted into a berth (a long-range cab will be obtained).
Interior
The seats, dashboard, torpedo, upholstery and windshield of the GAZ 33023 are no different from their progenitor model 3302. All control parts are located in the same place as the predecessor.
Dimensions
The Gorky small truck has rather compact dimensions: length - 5.5 meters, height - 2.1 meters (in the cabin), width - 2.4 meters (taking into account the length of the rear-view mirrors). The volume of the cargo compartment in this case is up to 6 cubic meters - 3 cubic meters less than the model 3302. But the engineers of the Gorky automobile industry found an excellent solution to increase the cargo space by lengthening the frame. Thus, the length of the van increased by 1 meter, and the total volume is from 9 to 14 cubic meters (depending on the height of the installed tent).
Cost
The cost of the new Gazelle "Farmer" will vary from 450 to 480 thousand rubles. The price depends on the brand of the engine (2 units are provided for customers to choose from - gasoline UMZ 4216 and a diesel engine from Chrysler). An extended version of the GAZelle will cost a little more - from 470 to 500 thousand rubles. For this money, you will receive a maneuverable and unpretentious car in service, which will serve you for many years.
