Modern televisions contain an image post-processing processor, which quite successfully copes with the task of playing streams MP4, DVD and some others. For owners of such a miracle of technology, this means one thing: it is time to send a DVD player that served faithfully to the trash. However, the process of replacing TVs is not yet complete and many are forced to watch movies the old fashioned way - through the player. If it supports MP4, then this is already good, otherwise there is only one way left - independent DVD creation.
Any player can play a classic DVD movie, after all, the standard is standard. Why is such a conversion necessary? First of all, for players of the old generation, the chip of which cannot decode the MP4 stream. In this case, creating a DVD is the only way to watch a movie. Of course, you also need to burn it to a CD. And since with the development of the Internet you can download any video for free, creating a DVD from AVI is not a curiosity.

In the tab "Video Processing" there is an important option for choosing the number of involved cores. Be sure to set the maximum amount (it will still not be possible to exceed) - this will speed up the conversion. The way to change the image size makes it possible to indicate to the program the desired result (proportional stretching, cropping, adding stripes) - for screens with a 4: 3 ratio this is important. Proportions are hardcoded on DVD specifications. The “Record” tab allows you to configure the program so that the final video file is immediately recorded on a CD. Here you can select the drive, recording speed and some other parameters.
In the audio settings you can specify the compression format of the audio track (the smallest amount is MPEG). Converting to AC-3 is recommended to be included only if there is a problem playing the DTS stream on your DVD player. Sound level is a very useful option, with its help you can amplify too quiet sound or weaken excessively loud sound.
In the “DVD Menu” tab, select the desired disc template. Implemented convenient viewing of reduced templates directly in the program window.
